The Webkinz Room Design Awards is a celebration of the top designs that have been featured in one of my room design posts since the last Room Design Awards were held in February. There are 26 finalists this time around and 10 will win a Webkinz Room Design Trophy.
Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- 5 winners will be decided by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. From Friday, May 31st – Sunday June 2nd (ending @ midnight, EST), players can vote for their favorite design and the 5 designers who receive the most votes will be awarded a Room Design Trophy.
- 4 winners will be chosen by the Webkinz Newz Team. Sally, Mandy, Steve and I will each choose our favorite room design and the designers will be awarded a Room Design Trophy
- The 10th winner will be chosen by the Webkinz staff, here at Webkinz headquarters

The Oak Tree Quilt is the most innovative use of any webkinz items I have ever seen in a design. Completely new perspective.

It is an honor to be a finalist in the latest Webkinz Room Design Awards! My room is called Powderpuff Porcupine Microhome since one of my pets of the same species lives here. (Michael Webkinz, you forgot the room name, didn’t you?)

I love the Fall Den RTYIPY567! I would love to spend time in there. It looks like a lovely place to enjoy the fireplace & the view out of those windows! You made great choices in there with the decor – the furniture, staircase, rugs, & accessories all create a beautiful space.
Wow!!! How am I going to pick just ONE favorite? I think this is the best bunch of finalists we’ve ever seen!!! I. Can’t. Pick. Just. ONE!!!!! Yikes!!!!!! They are ALL just wonderful! :-)

Oh my goodness I’m so overjoyed to be one of the finalists! I’ve been sending in designs for a while now. Designing rooms really helps me with my anxiety. My room is the very last one here, Backyard Fun, and it’s one of my most favorite rooms; complete with outdoor kitchen, fireplace, garage, pool, sprinkler, slip n slide and even an ice cream stand! Thank you guys! All these rooms are brilliant though! I was trying to pick my favorite and I just can’t haha. At the pool, cozy oak, flower shop, alterations, game parlor, bathroom, rainbow rink & beach day are my favorites! I can’t believe i was chosen as a finalist with all these other gorgeous designs!

You said it! I keep looking at these rooms and just marvel at how these people can think so far ahead, how many times they must have disassembled the rooms and replaced all of the furniture until they felt they were ready to let us see. Sorry Vanillya, about your room. I wish we could have seen the real finished product, what we saw was really good, if I could have my rough rooms look half as good as your ‘rough’ Finalist room, I would have won a long time ago LOL
