The St. Bernard Puppy just isn’t sure why its Spring Egg Recipe isn’t working out. It couldn’t be the special Rainbow Frosting – the Puppy has tasted that and knows it’s scrumptious! But there is something about the combinations of ingredients that the puppy has been trying that just don’t work.
But this time the puppy thinks it might have it just right! Since the St. Bernard Puppy is wishing for success, it decided that the best place to find the next taste-tester would be the Wish Factory! Will it be a case of third time’s a charm? Unfortunately the puppy’s wishes didn’t come true today. Amanda said she was sorry but she just didn’t think that the puppy had perfected the egg recipe.
It LOOKS beautiful!
Notice how it says “he puppy” instead of “the puppy. XD Don’t worry Ganz, everyone makes typos all the time.
Haha! I could tell by the look on her face that it wasn’t good!
I was thinking the same thing. I saw an ad on Webkinz and Amanda’s face doesn’t look too impressed. Keep trying puppy, I’m sure it’s going to be great once you get the recipe just right. I’m glad to hear the special Rainbow Frosting isn’t the issue, as it sure looks beautiful.
I’ve never seen Amanda without her smile! It was refreshing.
Maybe the puppy is using the wrong measurements, perhaps confusing the abbreviations tsp and Tbsp. It makes a huge difference if you use a Tablespoon of something instead of just a teaspoon – especially if it’s salt or baking powder.
Oh – and – Haha – that look on Amanda Panda’s face is the same one she gave me when I beat her at Link’d for this month’s Deluxe Challenge ;-)
Salt instead of sugar….or forgetting to put the sugar in like my son did with some banana bread last month.
Haha! You’re right! Thanks for pointing that out, @alpha!
Maybe the puppy is just one of those bakers who makes a lot of blech/gak/gunk. I can definitely relate to that, and although I have never tasted it personally, my pets generally are not too pleased to eat it. In real life, I usually do pretty well with brownies. Does the pup plan to share his recipe? Maybe we can help him to fine tune it?
That’s what I’m thinking. Let us help out with it!
Daisy Doe might be able to help…..
That’s a good thought.
Or Chef Gazpacho. Or Sofia Souffle, the dessert chef!
Aw, poor puppy- keep trying! I’m sure you’ll get it right real soon.
Poor Little St. Bernard Puppy…Don’t Give Up, You’ll Get It Right Soon Little Pup.
I agree! Just keep trying!
My older sister tried baking from scratch once . She made Johnny cake but she added baking power insted of flour . IT WAS SO BAD even the dog would (NOT) EAT IT !! She never make scratch cakes again . She was a good nurse but lousy baker !!
lol! well at least she can say she tried!!
She needs to not give up on herself so soon! Things like that happen to the best of bakers!
I would like to see what PJ Collie thinks
