I get to the mall a couple times a year. Before Webkinz was updated I used to be able to buy what I wanted every time I got to the mall but since the update I very seldom get enough money to buy any of the better items. The last time I got something even though I went the longest route I could I had to go through the maze FOUR times before I had enough money to buy the item I wanted! As with the other aspects of the game anything worth having seems to be much hard to get.
I’m kind of torn over it. I have roughly the same problem – I rarely am able to play enough between work and college to actually make it to the mall, and when I do, I don’t have enough mall credits for anything, so I just end up saving them and starting over. And it doesn’t help that the mall changes up their stock every couple months or so.
I have had a similar experience – I feel like there are not enough mall credit spaces on the board, so I usually have to go through the route several times to save up for a higher-priced item. I really miss having 2 rolls a day too. Feels like it takes so much longer to get to the mall. :(

I’m SO excited to collect the 2013-2014 clothes because I had quitted webkinz for a few years and yet I’d just missed out on a “chunk-ton” of items.
I hope the spree rolls will appear more often than the last time they had bonus spree rolls floating. I think I only got a couple the last time and I play a lot every day.
