I am SO mad right now! So, remember how my list to SantaKinz was super-mega-long? Well, my mom had a super-mega fit when she saw it. She said I was being WAAAY too greedy, and that SantaKinz wouldn’t look favorably on a list that long. I told her that we’d let SantaKinz be the judge of that, but she refused to let me send it. Little does she know, I’m going to pick up some stamps with my allowance, so ha!
Also, I was telling Roberta all about the gifts I thought she could get me this year (I picked some less expensive ones because she’s short on KinzCash) and she said – get this – that she’s MAKING all the gifts herself! Can you believe it?! Who does that? It’s so easy to just pop by the W Shop or the Curio Shop and get something. I’ve already got HER gift, and I definitely did NOT make it myself. I just feel like store-bought gifts are more special than something you make yourself. ANYONE can make a gift. To get something from the store, you have to save up. I guess I’ll have to pretend to like Roberta’s gift. Hopefully it’s not TOO awful.
Cowabelle, getting presents is always nice, but Christmas is bigger than that :) Think of spending time with family, cooking, and playing in the snow! Hand-made gifts are beautiful, because people put thought and caring into them, and take the time to make the gifts themselves. I make some of my Christmas gifts. And I doubt you need everything on your list. Just pick the top three or four things you want. All I want this year is a good book. I hope you will begin to understand the real meaning of Christmas!

Don’t be rude, Cowabelle. You and Stoogles really need to lighten up. Christmas isn’t just a time for you to get greedy and not have to feel guilty about it. Think of how Roberta would feel if she saw what you said. Think of how you would feel if a person was talking behind your back about how unnapreciative they are of you. Probably hurts.
Okay. Guess what? If she makes you a gift, it’s unique! But, if she buys you a gift, tons of thousands of kids might have the same thing! And you can’t have EVERYTHING! SantaKinz won’t be able to read it all in time!!!!!! Don’t be rude, Cowabelle, really!

Cowabelle, your mom is right, you ARE being greedy. And seriously, a couple of my friends gave me homemade gifts for my birthday, and I really like them. It’s the thought that counts, Cowabelle. I think homemade gifts are very special, because, while I like storebought things, too, homemade gifts require a person’s time and effort, while storebought gifts are pretty much just buy, wrap, give. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate storebought gifts very much, but you should be thankful that she’s willing to work and actually MAKE you something. Learn to be thankful for what you have. I know, a lot of times I’m not grateful as I should be, and I think it’s something most people need to work on, myself included. Try looking at it this way: she could have decided not to give anything.

I KNOW THE REAL MEANING OF CHRISTMAS IS EVEN BETTER THAN ANYTHING HIDDEN UNDER WRAPPING PAPER. THIS WEEK I AM GONNA GET ALL M FRIENDS GIFTS AT THE MALL WITH MY BEST FRIEND. HMM I WILL HAVE TO BE SNEAKY TO GET HERS LOL. BUT I AM ONLY TAKING 50 DOLLARS FOR MYSELF AND 300 FOR ALL MY FRIENDS. ALSO MY FAMILY ALWAYS GIVES MONEY TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST. Sure, you see a lot of stuff you’d like, but only get what you’d REALLY, like REEEAAALLLYYY want. Make a limit of 7 to 8 things on your list. Plus, it’s bad to go behind your mom’s back. I only have 1 thing on my Christmas list. It isn’t that cheap, but my parents didn’t do anything special for my birthday, so it is a combination. Christmas is about giving not recieving!
Cowabelle, i think its not nice to say that Roberta gifts are not to awful it mean and NOT the meaning of Christmas Christmas is about being kind and giving and sharing with others, not to get everything you want give to others and maybe make a new list? like get one or two things this year on your list and next year do the same, get it? maybe you’ll get everything you want in a year or so, i know its hard to wait a year or so, but i did i waited a year to get my love puppy i got it with no code because i was short on allowance and only has $30 or $40 dollars so yeah and homemade gifts is really the meaning of Christmas it not about the big gaming systems or greatest outfit ever so yeah i hope you understand
