Salley Cat here. After all my careful planning I think that my big earth day project is turning into a gigantic puddle of mud! I got up this morning so excited for Earth Day and it is pouring rain! Can you believe it? Especially after the way all my friends pulled together and got the whole thing off the ground when I was bogged down with too much to do. I mean, we all did all that hard work, but now what? I can’t expect all the volunteers to show up in the rain. I mean, would you want to trudge around in the mud searching for trash?
After all the effort everyone put into this event I think it’s all going to be washed away by rain. I would cry but it wouldn’t make any difference – I’m already soaked.

Ohhh :( :( I’m so sorry Salley! I know that you worked hard and you were so excited for earth day but unfortunately the weather was against you……..:( But be optimistic! :) Next year you will do it again and the rain is good for plants,so don’t worry i think they are happy with this rain. :))
Oh Salley~ u are soooo sweet! And u worked so hard!!! Here in northern Minnesota, we have had SNOW since Thursday! Yuck! Yesterday afternoon, my Dad & I went to the bait shop and bought some worms. Some were 4 the robins in our back yard, some 4 the earth. ( they are good 4 the soil) :) Keep smiling~ everyday should be earth day by helping keep it cleaner! :) :)

I feel your pain. It’s like all your hard work has gone down the drain. By the way it is not raining where we live but it is cold.
Well, lets look at the bright side, its good for all the plants, which is what Earth Day is about, right? Im sorry all your plans were washed away after all your hard work. Its happened to me before too. Hope everything else will work out and HAPPY EARTH DAY!!!!!!!!
