Millie Pig is Molly’s adorable little sister. Even though she’s only five, she’s got a discerning eye for detail. When she asked for Elwin and I to redecorate, we were only too happy to oblige! Her old room was really too babyish for her. She needed a definite upgrade – something more fun, funky and definitely more pink and light green (her favorite colors). She also requested ‘something with flowers’ – no problem, Millie! We’ve got you covered!
Yup, this is definitely too baby-ish for a five-year-old.
Here’s what we came up with!
The walls are pretty and pink, Millie’s huge book collection has a home on her bookshelf. The walls are a pale pink, and have butterflies in the corners. When Millie asked for flowers, we went a little over-the-top – and added tons of blooms to her room! We’ve got a little makeup mirror for playing pretend, and all of Millie’s toys are hidden in her toy box. When Millie saw her room, she couldn’t believe the change. “It’s SO BEAUTIFUL!” she said. And the best part is that this room will grow with Millie.
They are probably very busy and sometimes forget or have a habit of spelling certain ways or using certain grammar… I think THAT’S why! ;)
The second one doesn’t really match either.
How do you get hailey and elwin to decorate for you?
In the second photo they could have done better wall paper.
They should’ve added a window, because in real life, a room without a window is….. well i’d like one in my room.
(just so you know i do have one)+
I totally agree with you. If my room didn’t have a window, I would be miserable.
The first room is not too babyish! the caption for the first picture is wrong.
I love the second room especially the bed and wallpaper.
i like the bed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but how do u get it?
I liked the before version better
the after room is too mixed up
1.it’s pink, pink, pink (to have a good room you need to find colors that work together like pink and green)
2.a wicker chair next to a pink leather chair? (not a wise move)
Cute room! this room can take her all the way to her teens. Hope my grammar is okay though I doubt that anyone would really object.
