Roberta and Booger: At Odds

Oh, wow. I think Booger is turning into a control freak! He just came to me and said that I have to redo my yearbook page on the girls’ soccer team. That is so unfair! I did a really cool page! I brought in my own scrapbooking supplies from home and I used lots of ribbons and stickers and cute stamps. You should have seen how awesome it was. Then Booger looks at it and says that it doesn’t fit with his theme, ‘Anatomy of an Academy’. Well, I think that’s a stupid theme anyway so why should I have to do my pages in his silly format? I think flowers and bows are much prettier for the girls’ soccer team, right?

I told him that I wasn’t going to do redo it and you know what he said? He said he would just have to do it himself then! I said I wasn’t going to let him touch my page and so I packed it into my binder and took it home. I know he can just print off the pictures again and do it himself anyway, but it was the principle. I worked hard on that page and I don’t think that just because he’s editor he should be able to undo all that hard work.

Soccer is a rough and tough game. Maybe you should save the ribbons and bows for the Homecoming Court. That would be awesome!

Roberta, i know how you feel. i like scrapbooking too and if i had taken all my time doing it and got a comment like that i’d be angry! i think you’d make a better head too! Who agrees with me? just say “Aye!” peace hahago

Haha, soccer isn’t ribbons and glitter Roberta. I play on a team, and on games i’m not surprised when a ball hits me in the face or I get cleated in the face with a metal cleat. Soccer is rough, I hate ribbons and bows! I’ve played since I was 5, and its not a flouncy flowery sport.

Roberta, see sense into this. Booger is editor, so yes he does have the right to make you undo all that hard work. And the decor you picked doesn’t suit the girls’ soccer team either. It’s soccer after all, not crafts. Just do as he says Roberta and cooperate more. ♥

So true Gabriella. Roberta, you were given directions to follow and you didn’t. IT IS YOUR OWN FAULT!!! Booger is editor and it is his decision. You can try out for editor next year. And just so you know, soccer is not ribbons and flowers, unless they are 1st place ribbons! You need to fix your attitude or you will make everyone mad. Is that what you want? I hope not. ~DP

      • ---T,T----- says:

OK @gabriella and DP come on would u want to read anatomy of an academy i mean yes soccer isnt all bows and girly stuff (ive never played but softball isnt girly its tough!)but shes just trying to spice things up a bit!booger is gonna make people mad! T to the T see ya!!! §¶••¶§

        • DragonPrincess says:

Booger must be doing an okay job because no one else on the project has complained. Roberta joined a team, but she is not a team player. Maybe she should try out for soccer and then she would learn what it’s like and how to be part of a team! I’ve always liked Roberta, but she seems a little whiny lately…maybe it’s because Reid is still not letting her get enough sleep? I hope they get this fixed before they all end up mad at each other. ~DP

Roberta, even though you disagree with Booger, you need to realize that he is the editor. He controls most of what will be in the yearbook. You two will have to compromise. Anatomy of the Academy doesn’t sound too bad. Just keep an open mind! Maybe it’ll turn out really good!

  6. puffthemagicdragon says:

Instead of whining about how mean Booger is and how unfair he’s being try talking to your mom. See what she thinks , or like clikky said. ” Maybe make a compromise. Do something anatomy themed, and maybe he’ll let you add some creativity to it some way….You have to get along, cause he’s your friend and that is more important than the yearbook. “

  7. Country Girl Anthem says:

I’m siding with you, but I can see this getting out of hand. Be careful now. -|CountryGirlAnthem|-

  8. clikky says:

Be fair, Roberta. Maybe you don’t agree with his theme, but he IS the editor. Maybe make a compromise. Do something anatomy themed, and maybe he’ll let you add some creativity to it some way….You have to get along, cause he’s your friend and that is more important than the yearbook.

  9. Lady Beauty says:

Sorry Sally, but Booger is the editor and what he says goes! Scrapbooking and the layout for a yearbook ( to be enjoyed by all the students) are two different formats. You need to think this through and work with Booger. Working on a yearbook requires team work and learning to follow the directions of the editor, who is the leader in this project!

Yikes, try to get along Roberta & Booger! :)

    • Kodiak...make a compromise says:

First of all, Roberta, you have to understand that Booger is a BOY, and that sports are about GETTING DIRTY, not about ribbons and beads. Try stars, swirls, and soccer balls instead, and a yearbook isn’t a scrapbook, everything is printed onto it, and there should be nothing glued on it that could be pulled off.

Its For The GIRLS Soccer Team Yea They Get Get Messy But ANATOMY OF THE ACADEMY Thats REALLY WEIRD He Cant Just Change Everything!! **~**Sonici**~*

        • Time Bandit...what she means is says:

It would clash, because do you put on your best dress and tie your hair in ribbons and flowers to play soccer? No. There would be the team in casual clothes to play sports with a fancy frilly background, and it would be just odd. Roberta needs to realize that the academy isn’t playing dress up.

          • Moonstar says:

1.) Roberta, the theme might clash with everyone, but you have the Stereotype soccer players. Soccer players get dirty, they are not always clean and flowery and ribbony (I broke my leg in soccer just a few weeks ago!!!) Go up to Booger and tell him,”Sorry if I was being hard to work with earlier. I think we should compromise on this whole soccer page thing. Soccer isn’t about academics or grily stuff. ” Try to compromise. -Moonstar◙◙◙

          • Kaidi C49 says:

So true Moonstar. Roberta, Moonstar broke her leg and I broke my ankle. You think soccer is all pretty and cutsey and ribbons? You are so wrong. :) Moonstar and I are on the same soccer team.

          • Northwestern..how about this? says:

First Place blue ribbons could replace the bows, soccer ball stickers and stamps instead of the flower stickers, and stars to replace the flowers. It would be more of a sporty look, and it would be a compromise.

          • Moonstar says:

I think a cool, soccer kinda page could be something like this. If the team has won any trophies or medals, have them pose for a picture with the soccer team holding the trophy or showing their medals. Maybe have them ”fake” some action shots and take pictures of that. Get creative. Soccer stickers and stuff would be cool, and maybe some stuff like: We’re number one! or ”We Rule!” :) Get creative, I know you can Roberta.

          • WolfBlazeX says:

Yeah, stuff like ribbons and glitter doesn’t quite go with soccer. Like Moonstar said, soccer players aren’t always clean and pretty. ΩWolfBlazeX

          • shine says:

Well, soccer is not about ribbons and bows, you get all dirty and stuff. Three friends of mine broke their arms playing soccer. Not one, not two, but THREE. But I have to agree, this Anatomy of an Academy thing is weird.

    • Tiffany says:

I understand your frusteration, Roberta, but seriously. Girls’ soccer team = soccer decor!!! NOT girly crafts decor. I agree with Booger for this one, Roberta, you gotta do this one over. ~Tiff

    • MonkeyGirl9 says:

It’s kind of hard now to trust either of them… I don’t really think that Booger is bad or mean or a control freak I just think he was having a bad day or like he got in a fight and was hurting.

    • Midnight Sky A.K.A nihao9 says:

Roberta, I wouldn’t let someone boss you around like that. No offence Booger, but really, let Roberta do what she wants. I know your trying to be helpful, Booger, but let Roberta do what she wants for crying out loud.

      • ~*Green Zebra*~ says:

UH wow can anybody say rude! booger i know u like all that kind of stuff but most people DONT and if u take over the hole thing people r gonna get mad and stop reading it! so chilllll….. ∆•Green Z out•∆ :-) ;-)
