Hey ‘Kinz friends, it’s me – Salley Cat! It’s time for back-to-school and I’m so happy to be returning to the Kinzville Academy. Not so long ago, I was the new kid in class – and boy was I nervous.
I remember my very first day at the Kinzville Academy. I didn’t know my way around, I only knew a few of the kids (that I’d met during the summer – including my BFF, Stoogles). Luckily, I joined Miss Daisy’s class and met a ton of new friends. Stoogles was in my class, so I didn’t feel so alone. I made an effort to talk to each of the kids in my class, and to introduce myself to everyone at recess. I sat with Stoogles at lunch and invited other kids to sit with us. I also joined the softball team and the craft club. In no time, I had made a LOT of new friends!
If you’re the new kid at your school this year, don’t worry – just be friendly and kind and you’ll be absolutely fine.
I home school but i do have a bum for new friends.
