Hey ‘Kinz friends, it’s me – Salley Cat! It’s time for back-to-school and I’m so happy to be returning to the Kinzville Academy. Not so long ago, I was the new kid in class – and boy was I nervous.
I remember my very first day at the Kinzville Academy. I didn’t know my way around, I only knew a few of the kids (that I’d met during the summer – including my BFF, Stoogles). Luckily, I joined Miss Daisy’s class and met a ton of new friends. Stoogles was in my class, so I didn’t feel so alone. I made an effort to talk to each of the kids in my class, and to introduce myself to everyone at recess. I sat with Stoogles at lunch and invited other kids to sit with us. I also joined the softball team and the craft club. In no time, I had made a LOT of new friends!
If you’re the new kid at your school this year, don’t worry – just be friendly and kind and you’ll be absolutely fine.
I’m Homeschooled, too! My mom teaches me, but I kinda wish I went to school… It would be fun!

I am KINDA the new kid at school, but not really, because I just started middle school. But the worst part about this is. . . . . .
I am the new girl in TOWN!!!!!!!!!!! NO ONE knows me! And I don’t know other people. The high schoolers are the worst though. They push through us, ESPEIALLY the new 6th graders, and everyone in my class puts their backpack in front of my locker, so now I can barely get in it! AND. . . MY backpack doesn’t fit in my locker, so I have to use a bag! UGGGGHHH!!!!

I’ve always wondered what it’s like to be home schooled. But I think I would like my public school better because at home I wouldn’t get to see my friends every day. But yeah, my school is pretty sweet. We only have 7-10 bad teachers that I have met so far. But all the other teachers were pretty nice, especially my gym teacher last year, OMG he was soooooooooo awesome, I miss him so much!
I started middle school this year. I go to public school. It’s really not that bad. I’d actually rather go there than anywhere else, private or homeschool.

I’m Homeschooled so i wouldn’t know. Except i went to public kidnergarten.

Same here. I NEVER want to go to public school! Being TRAPPED virtually ALL DAY LONG in some classroom?! LET ME OUT!!! I’d go completely NUTS if I was trapped like that, it would be like, well, like being trapped in a cage. I’m gald I’m at home and never had to go to public school. And this year I am starting Spanish, so wish me luck! And good luck to you with school, also.
