So guess what I learned today?
Sometimes your friends aren’t very helpful. Sometimes you’ve got to beg and plead to get stuff done.
And sometimes, if all else fails, you’ve got to bribe your friends with salsa and homemade cookies.
Stoogles and I had a ‘Kinz meeting today and we were asking our friends to help with the fair. We just wanted them to volunteer for one hour at a game or ride or booth. The idea is to get LOTS of volunteers, so everyone only has to work for one hour, and they get two hours of fun.
The problem is, EVERYONE wanted the ‘cool’ jobs, like making cotton candy or helping with the rides. No one wanted to sell tickets or work at the first aid station. So I offered cookies or salsa to anyone who took a ‘boring’ job.
And you know what? They STILL complained!
Eventually, Molly agreed to help at the first aid station (she said it could be ‘interesting’). Stoogles and I decided to take tickets. Yuck.
Maybe Purr-Cilla has had better luck finding volunteers.
I’d go for ticket-saleing. You see, I am a very organized person. I think I’d do well.
But no. Because this isn’t in the real Webkinz World. (My username is fdty23)
PS: For my username, f stands for flowers, d stands for dancing, ty stands for my real name, and 23 is for my birthday
PPS: FYI, if you really want to know, my birthday is on the 23rd of April.

Widen the circle of people asked, Salley. There may be budding entrepeneurs who would love selling tickets! I like the idea of an hour of work and two hours of play! That is a great approach!!
SEE!I knew this was going to happen.if she planed things out more she would have let over money and the volunteers would only have to do 30 minutes of work with all of the volunteers she would have.Well I think save it while you can and do a smaller fair.Maybe if your that desperate you should ask for donations and prizes.Thats why there’s teers in volunteers. : (
