President Polly Panda presents: The Winter Festival!

Now that we’re back at school I’m a bit worried about the winter blues setting in. So I had another idea that I pitched to Ms. Cowoline and she really liked it!

I think this is the perfect time for Kinzville Academy to plan a Winter Festival! The kids can take part in games and competitions, and we can make winter crafts and have some yummy winter snacks.

I put out a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board asking for volunteers to help brainstorm ideas and set up the festival. I hope some of my friends will help me out. When I told Cowabelle and Roberta about it, they loved the idea too.

What do you think? Do you have any ideas for fun events for the Winter Festival?

I think you should have an hour of fun in the snow then come into your classroom for some hot chocolate and gingerbread. Everybody would love that, and I definitly want to do that in my school. That would be so cool!

What I think is great is that you are soliciting ideas from everyone! That’s the mark of a true leader.

You could have a snowflake-throwing contest! The “snowflakes” could be decorated frisbees. Whoever throws the farthest wins a prize, like candy or a cheap necklace. Hope it turns out great!

ice fishing! its like the carnival fishing game but the ice is flat. there will be someone underneath the ice to connect treats and toys. the ice will be white card board held up by some wood or stones.

I think that’s a great idea Polly! I think you should make paper snow flakes and hang them up for decoration. and you could serve hot chocolate if it’s really cold. that would be cool. hope it turns out okay:)
