If using spray paint, paint planter and stick and let dry. (Get an adult assistant to help with this). 2. Pour sand or gravel into planter and insert stick so it stands up straight. 3. Tie long bits of ribbon onto the base of each balloon and tie all balloons together into one large bunch. 4. With a ribbon, affix the bunch of balloons to the top of the stick. Voila! Congratulations to Peyton, Zane, Mayowa, Pooja and Rebekah! They’ve each been awarded an eStore exclusive Beat the Heat Hammock. We wanted to know where the best place to go on vacation was. Read the winning entries below: My best summer vacation would be a few weeks in Great Britain. It is my dream to visit England. England has old houses and palaces and beautifully sculptured gardens. It also has Queen Elizabeth who I might be lucky and see in person. England has old towers, old bridges, old cobble stone streets, Big Ben and other old, old things. I would feel like I was in one of the classic novels like Wuthering Heights or The Tale of Two Cities. England has some interesting foods. I could have some real Fish and Chips. England would definitely be educational and in England I would feel comfortable because English is spoken there. So, I would be able to read and write and understand everything. Wish I was there. That is my dream. – Peyton The best summer vacation ever would be a week trip around the world with all my Webkinz. We would go to Europe, Australia, Antarctica, China, Japan, Canada, and Hawaii. Summer in the Sun Contest
Congratulations to Morgan, April, Sarah, Ray and Kali! They’ve each been awarded a Lazy River Ride. We wanted to know where the sun would go on vacation — and here are the winning entries! I think the sun like to retire from always being soo hot and would love go to somewhere freezing cold for a change like ANTARTICA!! He could build icy igloos and he could build huge snow balls so if the mean snow monster attacked him he could throw snowballs at him, and he would leave the sun alone for a while. The sun would like to build a snowman to keep him company. The sun would be a very good friend to all the penguins, seals, and polar bears and all the other animals. He would like to make snow angels. He would make tasty snow ice cream and it would be his new favorite food. He would never be cold, so there would never be any need for a warm coat and he could lay out outside his igloo. But since he’s one billion degrees he would melt all of Antarctica and there would never be any snow. So he can’t live in Antarctica. He … Read more
