              It’s Cowabelle and am I ever exhausted! What a day! The parade was so much fun, but it didn’t go exactly as planned. You know how I was kind of disappointed about not being chosen to be the Queen of the Easter Parade? Well, in the end, I kind of was. Everything WAS going fine. Millie was perched on the throne on top of the Easter Float. She looked so cute in my tiara. She was holding a basket full of chocolate eggs, and all she really had to do was toss the eggs out to the crowd and wave. Not so tough, right? Except halfway through the parade route she stops. I was her helper and stood beside her smiling and waving and it was my job to refill her basket from a big box of eggs hidden under the throne. When she stopped throwing them out to the crowd I asked what was wrong and she said she was running out of eggs and she wanted to keep the rest for herself. PJ Collie here, with an Easter fashion report! Today’s parade has brought out the best and brightest in the way of Easter fashions. I brought my camera and clicked away when I saw some truly note-worthy outfits. Check them out!               Henrietta Hippo is looking quite stunning in a bright pink flowered dress. I love her pretty sandals and funky sunglasses. The pink ribbon tops the whole outfit off perfectly!                 Shawn is rocking this lime green pants-and-green jacket combo. If it was any day other than Easter, I might wonder if this outfit works – but since today is all about bright colors and looking dapper, I think Shawn has nailed it! The neon green laces are a fun touch, as is the bowler hat. Oh, and the bunny nose. Nice.               Kimmy Koala knows how to do Easter! Not only does she have terrific hippie-chic jeans, but she’s also got a fun pink hat with ears! Notes from the Science Journal of  Alex Tiger 2pm – I have made a remarkable discovery. In one of my search areas located near Kinzville Park I was digging for samples when I came across a small cache of unusually colored, smooth, oval rocks. I have gathered the samples and am about to return to my lab (bedroom) to study them more closely. 3pm – I am now in the lab with my samples and have decided to research the rocks before beginning my analysis. I have scanned all of my reference books and have been unable to find any reports of rocks matching the samples I have discovered. The signs are all pointing to the fact that this is an entirely new scientific discovery! 3:15pm – Upon closer inspection the rocks have been revealed to be a hoax. As I tapped one of the samples with my chisel, the outer covering chipped off to reveal a solid chocolate center. The covering was a candy-coated shell. These are no rocks – they are chocolate eggs! 3:30pm – A phone call to Roberta revealed that the Easter Planning Committee has compromised some if not all of my search areas by hiding … Read more →

              Wow. Roberta here. Millie just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Today Molly showed up at my house with her. Molly said she was really sorry, but Millie wanted to see me for some reason. Then when I invited them in Millie got all shy and could barely speak to me. At first she just did that weird staring thing again. I offered them a drink and then Millie started piping up about all these things from the W Shop that she would like. And get this – she pulls out a list of stuff she would like from her pocket that she has written down. Um, okay, Millie. Whatever. Then she started going on about how she likes nuts but she doesn’t like raisins and she really thinks that chocolate shouldn’t have raisins in it but it’s okay if it has nuts. Molly and I are looking at each other like, ‘what the heck is she going on about?’ And then after we had some lemonade Millie said she was ready to go home.
