More Shopping with Cowabelle!
So I went into the Curio Shop today with my mom and Sparky was there working. I figured it would be as good a time as any to drop a few hints about what he could get me for Christmas, but he just seemed completely distracted. Every time I tried to subtly point out something super cool, he was looking past me at something else in the shop. Um, hello? How is he ever going to know what I really want if he doesnât LISTEN? I mean, Iâm only trying to help him out, you know? Imagine if he just had to figure out for himself what to get me for Christmas? What if he got me something I didnât like? Ugh! I think I was being really thoughtful trying to give Sparky some inspiration and he clearly didnât appreciate it. What could be more important than choosing the right gift for your friends anyway? I wonder what could have been such a big deal that he didnât want to hear about what I wanted for Christmas.
Robertaâs Homemade Holidays: Picture Frames
Today, I decided Iâd work on the âKinz gifts. Everyone is going to get the same thing, because honestly â this is taking a lot of time! But Iâm going to customize each one, so even though theyâre the same, theyâre different! What am I talking about? Pictures! And picture frames. This is what you need: Paper shapes, small jewels, wooden craft sticks, cardboard or cardstock, craft glue, picture of your friends  What you do: Glue the wooden craft sticks into a rectangular shape. Glue a piece of cardboard or cardstock on three sides on the back (leave the top open). When the glue is dry, decorate the front of the frame with the paper shapes (I used flowers) and jewels. You can add all sorts of other stuff, if you like (buttons, glitter â whatever you think looks awesome). When that glue is dry, slip a picture of your friends into your frame. You can also add ribbon to the back, if you want your friends to hang this up. Otherwise, you can add a cardboard triangle to the back to help it stand up.

Sparky Helps Out
I went over to the Curio Shop right after school today to help out. With Christmas coming up I am trying to get as many hours in at the Curio Shop as possible. I was having a great afternoon. With everyone getting ready for Christmas Uncle Arteâs shop has been packed. The thing is, I hadnât mentioned to Uncle Arte that I had failed my math test yesterday. I mean, I guess I was going to tell him at some point. Iâm just not sure when exactly I was planning to do that. These things take time, you know? I was just helping Dr. Quack wrap up a present for a âcertain someoneâ (what the heck does that mean, anyway) when I heard the bell over the door ring and when I looked around, I saw Ms. Cowoline walked in the door with Cowabelle. Can you say Panic Stations? The last thing I needed was for Ms. Cowoline to start chatting with Uncle Arte and spill the beans about the test. I rushed over to try and intercept her, but then Cowabelle kept pestering me questions about this item and that. Every time … Read more
Fluffingtonâs Tasting
Chef Gazpacho here, and boy am I mad! As you all know, Iâm one of Webkinz Worldâs finest chefs. Iâve had years of training and experience â and my dishes are, without a doubt, delicious. Fluffington asked me to cook for his Christmas day extravaganza. I agreed, and we had the tasting today. I made up all the dishes I was planning to cook for the big day, and Fluffington tasted each one. And hated them. All of them. He said my Ophidian Callaloo was salty, my Squishadish was under-flavored, and my Wozzled Elphinda was too sweet. Really? REALLY!? Because everyone at my restaurant thinks theyâre all wonderful. Anyway, as you can imagine, I wasnât very happy. I packed up my things and left. I donât know whoâs going to be making Fluffingtonâs special meals, but Iâll tell you one thing: it wonât be me!
Sparky’s Test
Uh oh. Itâs Sparky and today is not my day. I just got my math test back and it was not good. I flunked it! I canât believe it! Iâm usually pretty good at math, so I just didnât think I needed to bother studying. Also, I have got a lot of stuff to do. I mean, Iâve got to earn some money right now so I can get Uncle Arte a really awesome gift. I donât even know why Ms. Cowoline is giving us tests in December. Doesnât she know that nobody is thinking about school right now? Christmas is coming! Of course, it didnât help that Alex got an A+ on his test. Not that he would ever brag about it or anything but I saw it when Ms. Cowoline handed it back to him. I donât know what to do. I have to go help out at the Curio Shop tomorrow, but if Uncle Arte finds out about my test he is not going to be pleased. I think Iâll just shove it in the bottom of my backpack and forget about it for now. Uncle Arte never has to know.
Molly’s Great Idea
Hey! Itâs me, Molly. Millie and I have had a long day and I am exhausted! What started out as a small project turned into a major undertaking. I found out that there was a Kinzville toy drive and asked my mom if she would take us to the W Shop and let us choose some gifts that we could give away to kids who are less fortunate than us. I have some KinzCash saved up from my allowance and I thought this would be a pretty good way to spend it. My mom loved the idea and then she said that if any of my friends wanted to donate too, she could drive over and pick up the toys and deliver them to the toy drive. Isnât that a great idea? So I sent out an email to my friends telling them what I had in mind and the response I got was overwhelming! Almost all of my friends said that they would donate at least one toy to the toy drive. I made a list of everyone who wanted to donate and told them that weâd be there … Read more
School Council Minutes
In attendance: Stoogles, Salley, Purr-Cilla Minutes: Because a certain Googles and certain Alley Cat canât seem to see eye-to-eye on anything, I, Purr-Cilla, am writing these minutes. You’re welcome. First, I just want to say how completely ridiculous Stoogles and Salley are being. Like, really! What is up with those two? Just chill out and apologize. Thatâs coming from ME, queen of not apologizing. Itâs just so insane. Theyâre not even speaking, as I take these minutes. Just glaring at each other. Weâve got to plan the holiday assembly and carol sing, but can I get them to agree on anything? NO! Well, I’m going to force them to talk and Iâm going to write down, word-for-word, whatâs said at this meeting. P- OK, Ms. President and Mr. Vice-President. Open your mouths and start talking. I’m not sitting here all lunch hour wasting my time if you’re just going to glare at each other. SC- Fine. We need to start planning the holiday assembly. P- Yes. Yes we do. What kind of songs should we sing? S- Who cares? Letâs just use the list from last year. SC- Oh, thatâs really great. Really … Read more
Robertaâs Homemade Holidays: Desk Set
Welcome to my crafty workshop! Today, Iâm working on my momâs gift. She loves being crafty â I guess thatâs where I get it from! Momâs desk is ALWAYS messy, so I thought I could make her a desk set to help organize some of her stuff. Hereâs how I did it:  What you need: scrapbooking paper (three different patterns or colors works well â make sure they look good together), scissors, ruler, pencil, shoe box top, paper towel tube, small square box, paper cup, long rectangular box, double-sided tape, craft glue, stickers (optional) What you do: Cover the shoe box top in scrapbook paper. You donât really need to do the bottom, but make sure you cover each side and the inside of the box top. Measure the paper so itâs large enough to fit around the outside of each of your containers. Cut it to fit. If youâre covering something like a drinking cup, you might find it easier to cover with strips, as opposed to larger pieces of paper. Strips work better since the cup is curved. Glue your paper in place. Add stickers, if you like. Make … Read more

Meriwether St. Bernard is Unimpressed
Why, I NEVER! I have no idea what put my nephew, Fluffington, in such a foul mood today, but I must say, I certainly was not going to remain there to be spoken to like that! I stopped by Fluffingtonâs for a quick visit to see how his plans for his big party were coming along. I was worried he had taken on a bit much. After all, he doesnât have the same flair for entertaining that I have always had. Why, my parties have always been the talk of Kinzville. But then what does one expect from someone with my class and good taste? A focal point of MY parties has always been a display of my extensive tea cup collection. I just know that the citizens of Kinzville love the opportunity to admire my collection as much as I love showing them off. But I digress. When I arrived at Fluffingtonâs home, he seemed to be stumbling around the front yard, mumbling to himself. Personally, I found the decorations quite striking, but when I complimented him on them â why, he flew off the handle! He said that … Read more
