Webkinz Halloween Costume: Mummy

This cute mummy costume is totally easy to make! What you need: Sheet of white felt, scissors, pet What you do: 1. Cut the white felt into strips. You want to cut lengthwise, and make the strips about the width of a marker. 2. Wrap the strips around your pet. Tie them in the back, or simply tuck them in to hold them in place. 3. Make sure to leave at least one of your pet’s eyes visible. It’s creepier that way!

Alex & Sparky: Back to the Boat
Alex Tiger here. The other day at Sparky’s birthday we had a really scary adventure! While we were by the lake, there were some very strange sounds coming from this old boat that had washed up on the shore. Everyone freaked out and ran away, but I am convinced that there must be a reasonable explanation. Maybe it was just the wind running through the old shipwreck. So today I persuaded Sparky to come back to the boat with me to investigate. He really didn’t want to go, but I thought it would be good to bring someone else along – not because I was scared or anything – I just wanted to show him that there was nothing supernatural making that noise. As we got close to the shipwreck, everything was calm, although Sparky was a bit shaky. I talked Sparky into climbing up onto the deck of the ship with me and I was just about to show him that it was nothing but an old boat when suddenly it started shaking and that groaning sound started up again. Then a cold breeze blew out of the cabin on the ship. I wanted to investigate but Sparky … Read more
Webkinz Costume: Racecar Driver

Tell your pet to get ready to zoom around this Halloween! What you need: Kleenex box, scissors, glue, paint, ribbon, stapler, black construction paper What you do: 1. Cut a Webkinz-sized circle at the top and bottom of your Kleenex box. The box will fit around your pet (if cutting the bottom of the box is tricky, ask your favorite adult assistant for help). 2. Paint your Kleenex box an interesting color. Go for something vibrant and eye-catching! 3. When your Kleenex box is dry, cut out four circles from the black construction paper. These are your wheels. 4. Glue on the wheels. 5. On either side of the Webkinz-shaped hole, staple the ribbons in place. These are the straps. 6. Decorate the rest of your car with stickers, different paint colors – whatever you like. Get your pet ready to race!
Webkinz Costume: Cookie

Is your pet the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen? Maybe a cookie is the right kind of costume idea! What you need: brown Bristol board OR white Bristol board and light brown paint, dark brown or black felt, scissors, ribbon, fabric glue, snack-sized plate What you do: Using a plate as a template, trace two circles onto your Bristol board. If the board is white, paint it brown and let it dry. These are going to be cookies. Cut dark brown triangles out of your felt. They’re going to be chocolate chips on your ‘cookie’. Attach ribbon to the back side of one cookie. Let it dry. Attach it to the back side of the other cookie. Let it dry. Do the same again on the other side of the cookie (you want to space the ribbon enough so that it sits on your pet’s shoulders when you put the cookie costume on them). Dress your pet up for a night of fun!
Sparky’s Birthday Surprise
Whoa – so it was my party today and it was CRAZY! You will never believe what happened! It was all going really well. I got some great presents and my Uncle took us deep down into the mines, which was really spooky – perfect for a Halloween party! Then, my Uncle planned out this cool scavenger hunt. We teamed up to find unusual objects on the list. I was paired with Cowabelle and as we got close to the lake behind the Tournament Arena (we were looking for an oar) Nibbles and Roberta came running out of the trees, looking terrified. They said that there were strange noises coming from this old shipwreck on the shore. Just then Salley and Stoogles appeared and said they had heard something too. Polly and Alex and Laurabeard and Molly all arrived at the lake then so we decided that we would all check it out. After all, as Alex said, it couldn’t really be anything scary, right? I mean, that stuff is just in stories. Quietly we all crept through the woods toward the boat and just as we got to the tree line, the boat … Read more

Hi, Ella McWoof here with an interesting piece of gossip. Kinzville is abuzz with rumors that something enchanting is coming to town, and word on the street is it’s something that will be available in the W Shop! I asked Fluffington St. Bernard to comment and all he said was, “Pack your bags for a magical adventure!” and then chuckled really loudly for quite a while. What’s going on?
The Spook-tacular KinzPost Office
Hailey here with our latest decorating challenge: to make the KinzPost Office look fabulous for Halloween! Now you’re probably wondering if that’s even possible. Post offices aren’t exactly the most exciting places. Until now! Elwin and I went all out for this seasonal update. We added some wonderful glowing green stone walls, some cool stone flooring, and some black and white countertops. We threw in a very spooky desk, and a lime green chair to complement it. My favorite thing of all? The candlestick, of course! What do you think of the KinzPost Office now, friends?
