Ms. Stripes’ Halloween Party

Sparky (or should I say Spooky?) here. So today was our class Halloween party and guess what? It wasn’t even lame! In fact, not only was it not lame – it was actually pretty awesome! Now, don’t get me wrong – it did start out pretty badly. I mean, who has a Halloween party with no candy, no costumes and no scary decorations? And it was obvious to everybody pretty early on that the party was basically no fun at all. I think even Ms. Stripes knew it wasn’t going well because when Roberta suggested that maybe things would pick up a bit if we put up some of those decorations we had made, Ms. Stripes said that was a great idea. Once we put up the decorations everyone seemed to get into the spirit a bit more. When things started to liven up, Ms. Stripes said maybe she had been a bit too hasty when she said we couldn’t wear costumes. Nibbles pointed out that a lot of us had our costumes in our backpacks because we were all going over to Roberta’s that night to go trick-or-treating and Ms. Stripes told us we could go to the locker … Read more

Faraway Whistles and Flashing Lights, Oh My!

Hello, Fluffington St. Bernard here. Something wonderfully strange is afoot in Webkinz World as its citizens try to figure out the magical new Deluxe-Only addition to the W Shop! With just a few days to go until its reveal, a few daring Kinzville photographers told me they managed to snap a few blurry pictures. This is some fine detective work, but I’m in on the big secret so I can tell you that there’s much more to this grand reveal than what they captured! Now excuse me, I’m off to finish this book I just can’t put down, it’s to do with a certain boy wizard. Have you heard of it? Riveting stuff, I tell you!

Nibbles and Too Much Candy

Ugh, you guys! I’ve made a terrible, terrible mistake. What did I do? I ate candy. All the candy for the trick-or-treaters tomorrow night. That’s, like, way too much candy for one hippo. I think I must have eaten about 40 mini chocolate bars. The thing is, I did it over such a long period of time that I didn’t even notice – plus, I was working on my homework, so I didn’t realize that I was snacking at the same time. I just started with one and before I knew it, I had eaten two entire bags. When I realized it, suddenly I didn’t feel very well. My mom asked me to put the candy in a bowl, so I had to confess and tell her what happened. She freaked out a little bit and asked how in Webkinz World I managed to eat all that chocolate. Good question. Anyway, I didn’t eat any dinner or anything – my stomach is so sore. My mom says that if I just take it easy and eat nothing but healthy foods for the next few days, I should feel better. Right now, I don’t want to think about eating ANYTHING. … Read more

Fit the box over your pet’s body and determine where the arm holes should be (make a mark on the box, remove the box from your pet, and cut out the arm holes). 4. Paint the box grey or silver. Where, Oh, Where Can She Be?

Salley Cat here. So far this has been the freakiest Halloween ever and we haven’t got to the 31st yet! Alex finally believed us that the ghost on the shipwreck is real, but then he wanted to go back again and help the Ghost Pirate! We all said that he was crazy, but he said that if the story was true then we could help reunite him with his lost love and he wouldn’t haunt the shipwreck any more. Alex, Sparky, Stoogles and I went back to the shipwreck yesterday. It was so creepy. As soon as we got close to it we could hear the sobs of the Ghost Pirate. Alex climbed right up onto the deck and the whole ship started to shake and shudder. Alex called out that he was here to help. After another loud sob, the Ghost Pirate cried out, “I cannot be helped! I am trapped on this ship for eternity!” Alex said that surely something would be able to free the Pirate. He responded that the only thing that could help him is love, but that his love is lost forever. Then Alex asked him how he lost his love and the Ghost … Read more

Alex’s Trick

Okay, this was supposed to be a really funny day but it didn’t exactly turn out the way I had planned. Because I knew that ghosts are not real and there was no way that old shipwreck by the shore could possibly be haunted. So I decided to set up this fake ghost to scare my friends. I told them that I had an idea to draw out the ghost and that they should meet me at the ship. I hid on the ship’s deck under a sheet with a couple of eyes cut out. When I heard my friends getting closer, I stood up with the sheet over me and in a low voice I called out “Spaaarkyyyy!” At first they all screamed then I think they immediately realized it was just a trick and they started to laugh. But then, all of a sudden they stopped laughing and just stood, speechless, staring at me. Everyone’s mouth was hanging open and from behind me I heard a very deep voice rasp out “My love, is that you?” just as I saw two white, wispy arms encircle me from behind. As the arms closed in on me I felt a … Read more
