My family celebrates Thanksgiving by first watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade then going to either my mom or dad’s side of the family (we switch each year which side we go to so this year it’s my dad’s which I’m so happy about because I love the cranberry sauce my grandma makes!) One year we did go to both sides of the family but we were all way too tired after that plus we don’t want to leave our pets home alone that long. So my mom and dad just try to keep track of whose family we’ll see this year although sometimes we all just pick my dad’s side since it has the best food ;) I’m most thankful for my family (including my real pets and webkinz pets!) I knew a lot of people whose parents aren’t understanding so I’m glad mine are plus that they support my love of Webkinz :D

As it’s generally just me and my daughter, I usually let her decide what we have for Thanksgiving, which means most of the time we have pizza LOL. I usually work that morning, then we chill out the rest of the day.

For Thanksgiving we usually just watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade on tv, sit around the house, and have a big dinner! Usually my mom cooks, but last year I made the mashed potatoes, only I messed up a little…. I didn’t cook them long enough and they were really sticky. And I’m not sure what, but something else went wrong because they also tasted bad! My family was really nice and ate some so that I wouldn’t feel bad, but they were disgusting! I didn’t blame them for not liking them! I think I need to work on my cooking skills a little bit… ;) ~*JaneOfAllTrades*~

Aww that’s all right Janeofalltrades! (Like your username btw) that reminds me of the time I tried to make a red velvet cake for Christmas…. I have no idea what I did wring but it didn’t even rise and it was all gloppy. At least your family tried your mashed potatoes, mine wouldn’t even get close to the cake! Let me say that cleaning the pan was no walk in the park either!
