Want to earn some cool NEW prizes? Just look for the “Free Prizes” button in the Thing to Do menu. When you click on it, you’ll have the option to either earn KinzCash or a prize by watching a video advertisement. At the end of the video, you’ll be awarded your prize.
The prizes for watching these video ads are ALL NEW and can’t be won anywhere else. The prize items are awarded randomly, with some of the bigger prizes being rarer than others. You can watch and win up to a total of 10 times per day.
Please note that you’ll need to have your Parent’s Account set to allow 3rd party ads and you’ll need to turn off any ad blockers to participate. When making changes to your Parents Account settings, you will need to click on the link sent in the confirmation email (i.e., the same email used to login to your Parent’s Account) to see the changes take effect. Also make sure you are logged out of your Webkinz account while making changes to your Parents Account settings.
UPDATE (04/13/2018): Please note that once an advertiser’s daily quota is reached, the videos for the ads are automatically capped and the “No ads are available in your area” message will appear. So if you were able to watch video ads one day and not the next, it most likely means that the video ads have been capped for the day and you’ll have to try again tomorrow.
Currently we only have advertisers in North America supplying us with video ads, so only accounts in North America can use this feature.
Since we have been reaching the daily quota for our advertisers with this new feature, we have now turned off the video ads that used to pop up between plays in the Arcade and the room.

I used to have 3rd party ads on but turned them off once the videos started since they slowed down much system soooo much it was unplayable. I have an older computer and use Firefox. For those who have 3rd party ads, are there still videos appearing on the side ads? If so I doubt I’ll participate in this. I didn’t mind having the 3rd party ads on since I know it helps fund the site but if I can’t play it doesn’t make sense!
Thank you for all the nice prizes. Glitched is the Juggling Busker Plant – if you try to turn it, it becomes the dreaded grey square or disappears. I absolutely dread ads in WW and I’ve occassionaly considered just quiting after over 10 years because of them so I do use ad block and will avoid activities that require ads on. However, I am pleased that “we have now turned off the video ads that used to pop up between plays in the Arcade and the room”. Please consider leaving this as is to reduce the lag that all ads (incl. the side ones) cause while trying to ‘play’. I don’t consider it play or fun, at all, to be interupted to watch ads pop up, especially for deluxe players who pay extra. I think this is a really wise choice for Ganz to improve on players enjoyment while still keeping your advertisers happy.

It seems to me that most people that say they can’t get them are in Canada. Are the advertisers excluding Canada?
There are two zzz Canadian ads..froot loops and rice Krispies….if you get the no video pop up…keep trying X out and go back, it SOMETIMES works

I registered, turned off 3 rd party and still have a problem to get prizes! What should I do?
I got the prizes the first day but I can no longer get them. That is very frustrating!! And I was able to collect them on my Australian time zone account when you say they are only available in North America. Weird! I hope that those that have collected all of the prizes will stop collecting them so that those of us that don’t have them all can get them all too.
It’s your physical location that counts, not the time zone you set your account to. As long as you are in North America, you should be able to at least have a chance to get them.
It only took me 3 days to get all of the prizes. Even the rare ones.
I am glad that Ganz decided to add an explanation as to why not everyone can get this prize. That should have been stated in the first place.
