Before an animator created one of the music videos that you can watch in the Music Starz section of Webkinz, an artist first created a storyboard for the video. A storyboard is a series of drawings that are used to show the sequence of scenes planned for a video. This gives the animator a visual script to work from when creating the actual video.
Take a look at some of the panels from the “Tiger Tiger” storyboard compared to actual frames from the music video. In this video, a Bengal Tiger becomes the DJ at a dance party to remember:

playnowpuppy those are my favs. too! I also love piggy plum pie and cats pj party though. :) My order would probably be (from fav. to last fav.) , casts pj party, koala holiday, do you wanna party, and hug a pug and piggy plum pie are tied. LOL.

Oh ya! I’ve been needing to ask you. Why did you stop making pet of the month music videos? Was it to much work or something?
Yeah, unfortunately they take a LOT of planning, music, art, etc.
How were you able to keep up with the videos every month!? I make videos and I know it’s hard.
I think you should at least do on like every two or three months
How about one at least every season? One for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer?

I would love if they would at least do the songs, even if a video is too much. It’s hard to find good music for kids. And Tiger, Tiger and Caramel Soup rock! I’m a Mom and I can’t resist dancing to them! :)

You know you can still watch some of those videos, right? Just go to the “Fun” tab here on WKNewz and click on “Pet of the Month.” You’ll find quite a few of the old videos, including “Tiger, Tiger” and one of my favorites, “Scaredy Cat.” Fun stuff!
Why did Ganz have to end these? These videos were amazing, especially Tiger Tiger, Hug a Pug, and Where did you get those stripes. I get it, they take lots of hard work but doesn’t most things in life?
It’s a little different when it’s a studio. There are a lot of factors that go into decisions like these. Hard work is one thing, but there’s also the question of where we put our resources’ (ie. our animators, writers, musicians, etc) focus.

I miss Pet Of The Months Videos. I mean I know there are still POM activities, but for me the basic idea of POM was the videos…I still LOVE that you kept the old ones!!! I love every single one, but I guess my faves are..Tiger Tiger, Caramel Soup, and Hug A Pug! XD -your friend, DottiePaw
