Dear Steve Webkinz, We need your help ! We wish to name our adventure squirrels after the family of Cinnamon Squirrels that made the perfect sapling. We know the names of Filbert, Birch and Ivy only we can’t remember the name of the fourth squirrel who wore red glasses and a floral headband. Please if you could tell us the name of this squirrel so our adventure camp can have the whole family ! Thank you for a wonderful Webkinz summer !

Now all the Cinnamon squirrels are in the old forest all dressed in adventure scout uniforms having the best Webkinz summer ever ! Thank you for making this possible for the little ones especially this summer !!!

I see the cookbook is now in the Wshop under books and also new stuff. Thanks for fixing it.

If you received the cookbook when you signed in a few days ago, you can find it in your dock–click on Decorations, then Presentable and you should be able to find it. Hope this helps

My Adventure Scout Cookbook has also gone missing! I tried to find in the WShop under Fun Stuff/Books and New and it cannot be found either place! :( Thankfully the “i” in the challenge gives the recipe for the canoe but I’d like to make the other fun items too.

I’m not sure where the new cookbook has wandered off to, but didn’t you get one when you logged in after the event started? My accounts, and my friend’s account each have one and we didn’t buy any. Double check your dock under the presentable decorations tab. You can see the recipes on the last Podkinz Ep.#142, but that’s a little tedious. Until the cookbook turns up: (use a stove to combine ingredients) Adventure Scout Lean-To: strawberries, strawberry yogurt, and adventure trail mix; Adventure Scout Canoe: coconut, raisins, and adventure trail mix; Adventure Scout Backpack: almonds, blueberries, and adventure trail mix; Glowing Fall Lantern: chocolate bar, marshmallows, and adventure trail mix; Adventure Scout Sleeping Bag: pretzel, toffee, and adventure trail mix. I hope that this helps you and everyone else whose cookbooks have gone missing. Hopefully this will tide you all over until the books show up again. Happy cooking!

At this moment the Ganz E-Store has Odd Holiday pets available for as little as $7.00 (cash – no points required). If you buy one, and post the code on your account you will have a year of full membership…something to consider for the free players.

    • Hari30 says:

Thanks for the info, but some of us still can’t afford it, and some of us have parent who won’t allow us to buy them, so as a free player myself, I really hope that they make the speed challenge available for everyone INCLUDING FREE PLAYERS just for the duration of the challenge, but I have a feeling they won’t because I’ve brought this up several times in the past 2 weeks but they just seem to be ignoring me :(

      • percaroma says:

Hari30, if your parent cannot buy you the pet, why not find a way to make the money? If you don’t get an allowance, why not offer to do some chores to make a few dollars to get the pet. And any adult (even on a fixed income) should be able to afford $7.00 for a one year membership…That’s what…55 cents a month? Seriously, you can’t adjust, afford or earn that? Okay, let’s say you can’t…you could ask family to buy it for your birthday or a holiday.

        • Hari30 says:

My parents don’t believe in the whole “chores for money thing” I have to do chores but I get nothing for it. Also I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but with COVID – 19 happening, I can’t exactly get a job that easily right now! Also, by birthday is in the second half of the year, and there’s no Holiday between now and the speed patch challenge, so there’s no way I can get to full or deluxe membership in time to complete it. I would also like to say that I have enough random savings to afford it BUT, my parent won’t let me because they don’t like paying for thing online unless it’s for school purposes! Also, it requires a credit/debit/visa card, I don’t have one, so I’d have to use my parents card(s) for that and I’m not stealing their cards! Also you do realize that there are some families out there who live paycheck to paycheck right?! So, they don’t have that much left over to buy anything other than their necessities like food and paying their bills!

          • percaroma says:

Hari30, I do understand your dilemma and I applaud you not wanting to steal your parents’ credit card. But you need to understand there are possible solutions to your problem without complaining that Webkinz isn’t giving you everything you want on a free account. So, you admit you have money of your own. Great…take some of it and purchase a Visa Card from Giant Eagle, Walmart, etc. Even though the Ganz E-Store account would be in your parent’s name, they can use your Visa card to make the purchase for you. So, their account would be safe and you get the happiness/enjoyment of being a full member. And, you can still ask for a pet for your birthday. You don’t have to adopt it immediately…just keep the code in a safe place, then adopt it when your full membership is close to ending. Also, I do know about not having money…I am trying to get disability and have been without an income for seven months now. I am fortunate, though…when I first started Webkinz, (fourteen years ago) my family bought a bunch of them for me…so, I can keep renewing for the next 15 years…Oh, there’s a thought…buy a few pets with your Visa card that way you will have a couple years in reserve. Just remember – full membership is 12 months from the time you adopt a pet…it does not accumulate. In other words, if you adopt two pets on the same day, you only get 12 months…it does not give you 24 months.

          • Hari30 says:

I am not complaining that I’m not getting everything I want as a free member. There a challenges that I couldn’t complete as a free member among other things that I can’t do as a free member, but I never complained about those ones, this is the first time I’ve ever asked for a change due to being a free member. I have been a Webkinz player for quite a while as well, and over the years, Webkinz plush pets have disappeared and I can’t find them anywhere where I live. I also have very strict parents so buying a Visa card isn’t an option for me. As I also mentioned earlier, they do not like buying things online, unless it’s for school purposes. Even if they would be willing to buy a plush one for me, as I said, they don’t seem to exist anymore where I live. If plush ones still exists here, I would try and buy as many as I could to avoid this kind of problem in the future, but I can’t. I also don’t get why they made it the speed class and not the agility class since the agility class is available for everyone including free players. Also, I am completely aware of how memberships work, I’ve been on Webkinz for quite some time, well not as long as you have, but for more than 8 years. Also, I’m quite amazed at how long you’ve been on Webkinz for, that’s really awesome, I don’t think I know anyone who has been on here for longer than you have!

          • percaroma says:

I am sorry to hear your parents will not help you renew your Webkinz membership for such a nominal fee. Especially, as you know, it is such a safe enfironment for children. Thank you for clarifying your knowledge of Webkinz. I still would have posted the item about the membership in case a newer person was reading these messages (never know what someone might learn). As for the speed class, I have nothing helpful to say. Hopefully your message will get through to the powers that be. Just so you know, I have not been on the entire 14 years…I have gone away for months at times and then am completely confused because of all the changes. Good luck trying to find a plush pet! Some people find them at yard sales or flea markets – or MAYBE?? an Ollie’s Outlet if you have them around you?

          • Hari30 says:

It’s alright, I mean it’s not like it’s your fault, and I’m quite used to it to be honest, so no worriers on your part. I totally understand though, a lot of newer players might not even really be aware of the Ganz E-store so it’s good that you posted about it, I didn’t even think to try and inform people about it. I’ve already commented about it several times but they don’t seem to care enough to even respond, which really sucks since the fitness patch challenge is going to start soon :( Even if you were away for months at a time, it’s still pretty cool that you’ve been a Webkinz player for so long! Don’t worry though, I got confused at some of the changes myself cause I stopped playing for at least a year at one point, it was so weird when I finally decided to play again. I’ve tried second hand stores and stuff, but unfortunately they never have the codes on them :( I’ve never heard of Ollie’s Outlet, so I don’t think there are any where I live, but thanks for the suggestion anyway :)

I can’t find my scout handbook and don’t remember how to make the canoe! Help!

    • Steve Webkinz says:

You can find the scout cookbook in the Fun Stuff/Books section of the WShop and in the NEW section.

      • AnimalGirl1991 says:

I cannot find the scoutbook anywhere in webkinz… it doesn’t show up in the new section or the books section… is anyone else having this problem??

      • lefty says:

I must need to get my eyes checked! I also misplaced my book, went to the WShop, but did not see it. I will go back and triple check!

      • CDR_Shepard says:

Steve, I don’t recall where exactly I put my scout cookbook either and I’ve gone to the WShop to see if I can buy another one there. I go to the fun stuff and click on the books section, and I click on each individual book, I’ve also counted them as the scout cookbook should be the 29th book in the section but I’ve only counted 28, and I don’t see the book there. I think you guys might want to get this checked out, cause no one is finding it at all in the section and therefore we cannot buy it.

    • jdtall says:

you can also click on the “i” in the description of that part of the challenge. (yellow circle with the lowercase I.) it will usually give you the ingredients needed

    • jingles4 says:

Hi sunshine1158, just click on the challenge icon and click ? next to the item you need assistance with and there will be instructions of what to do. This is true with all challenges, some ? are more helpful than others. For the canoe, mix coconut, raisins, and trail mix on the stove (use one in your room, as I’ve read that some people are having trouble using the stoves in the Clubhouse). Good luck!

  7. babytwinkleavfk says:

I finished the Cooking challenge not realizing that the plaques are super huge!! I can only fit a few on my wall at one time. XD

  8. bashopper says:

I was in the clubhouse room, and received my Adventure Trail Mix from the Beaver Kit. Then I went to the campfire to make an Adventure Scout Canoe. It accepted my 3 ingredients, and “Cooked”, but then the screen froze. It didn’t give me my Canoe, and kept my ingredients. Has anyone else had that happen?

    • sarabeara1234 says:

I came on to make a similar comment, except it happened twice to me, once in the Adventure Camp room, and once in Daisy’s Diner. Lost two Adventure Trail Mixes :( Is anyone having the same problem making the canoe in their house? I don’t want to have another trail mix go to waste

      • lakevillegrandma says:

I wasn’t able to make the lantern last week in the clubhouse. I decided the campfire in the clubhouse room must just be for decoration, so I went to my house to make it. It worked just fine, so I’m sure it will work for you, too, if you do it at your home.

      • jingles4 says:

Sarabeara1234 and bashopper, sorry to hear about your troubles making the canoe. I did make mine in my kitchen on my own stove and and received my canoe. It’s interesting that this hasn’t worked for you in the Clubhouse because I made the lantern from the last challenge in Daisy’s Diner without any issues. Good luck.

    • percaroma says:

make the recipes in you own home/room. It is not a Daisy recipe and the Kit room campfire may not be active for us to us.

    • bashopper says:

Thank you for the info. I used the stove in my house, and it worked! Sad to lose the Adventure Trail Mix, but it was only one.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Kinzville park? I have been unable to load it for the past few days, it just comes up as a green screen with no park number options.
