We are excited to announce the coolest new item that just arrived in Webkinz World! The amazing Halfpipe was designed by one of our players, 22bunny! The Halfpipe is the 2018 Super Deluxe Item, which comes free with every One Year Deluxe Membership purchased in 2018.

This halfpipe looks totally awesome! This is a cute idea from 22bunny, and amazing timing with the winter olympics right around the corner. I like how the final item turned out, and I can’t wait to see it in action! Michael Webkinz should make a video in which he and Mandy can take turns trying Shaun White’s “Double McTwist 1260″. THAT would be an epic podkinz! I hope that lots of players will soon be enjoying it in WW!

I just realized that I’m going to end up missing out on this Deluxe Membership item on one of the accounts I most want it on. Will you please consider making these available outside membership — like say, long past ones, so this one will get there eventually — at the eStore, or where Deluxe members could pick up an additional one (for a REASONABLE cost, please)? My main account is one of three I deluxe annually, and it drifts another day over every year. So next year, it expires on December 31st, which means it won’t let me renew until January 1st 2019. Which means I miss the 2018 item on that account altogether. While still being a long-time Deluxe member. Not cool. And I mss the December gift box. While still maintaining said long-time Deluxe membership. A lot of people receive Deluxe memberships for the holidays,
there has to be a way to give us a happier ending than missing out on important perks of membership! (Also I wish there was more option on the Deluxe pet…I had to miss out on the best deal on Deluxe for one of those accounts because I just did not want three of the pet. I honestly didn’t even want that pet at all, but well, trying to retain being Deluxe.)
You can purchase the one year Deluxe membership any time in 2018 to get this item. When you purchase it, you will get a code for the membership. When your current membership expires you enter the code and get the special item. I do this every year. My membership expires in April, but I buy my membership at the first available 1/2 price sale in the new year. Then when April comes along I enter my code and get the new item.
I was wondering would it help to add a 1 MONTH membership to get ALL of December next year and the monthly boxes. This will reset start date for new membership to begin at a better date. I just wondered I have 3 memberhips deluxe with a start date of Dec 28. so next reup date to start new deluxe will be Dec 29th next year myself !
2 memberships are for grand kids .
TinyGma, this idea is BRILLIANT. It can only be used once as a .99 tp up, but it is the best of all worlds! I wish I had thought of it last Year, then I coul \d have gotten the Sheltie pup. Definitely. Purchase the .99 membership, cancel the renewal, when that membership lapses the following month, THEN add the new membership. You can always save that Full membership activation till later, there is no time limit on when you have to activate.
Can someone tell me where to go to submit item ideas like this one? I keep seeing new fan-designed items, and I think “How did they know where to submit them? I didn’t see a contest announced.”

They announced it earlier this year, maybe the summer. I don’t remember the exact time, but the definitely announced it here. Maybe you missed it. I am sure if you check here everyday you won’t miss it this time around.
Wow, that’s a long time to process a contest and announce a winner. I’ll try to keep an eye out for them.
I love it, the Halfpipe looks like it will be so much fun for the pets. So sad that I have to wait until November to get it. Thumbs up 22bunny you did a great job on your design. I can’t wait to try it out.
