Okay everyone… it’s important to stay together for our last field trip, a visit to the City Center! The City Center is a busy place so, if you do get lost or separated from the group, make sure to find a police officer who’ll make sure you stay safe and can help you find us again.
The City Center is always a crowded place! Pets are constantly hustling and bustling about, making their way to work, visiting high end shops and dining out at one of the many restaurants you’ll find here. It’s always a good idea to use the bus to make it across the city. It’s often too crowded to take the car… and good luck finding a parking space!
Today is our lucky day… there’s a parade taking place on Main Street! Let’s stop and watch. Look… so many colorful costumes and things to see! Oh wow… A marching band! There’s even a group of clowns and of course, no parade is complete without floats! Look at those Hot Air Balloons, adorable!
Time to catch the bus and do some more sightseeing around the city! Let’s wait for it here at the Big City Bus Stop:

Thanks Sophie for taking us on the final field trip to City Center! I have learned so much from having the opportunity to be able to go on the field trips with you. Thank you for the big city bus stop. I think this prize used to be available in Spree shopping bags. I wish we could have more chances to get the racetrack tiles that used to be in the Spree shopping bags.
I love the Mud Hippo Security guards on all the corners. So cute. The clowns are all neat the way they look like they have no idea where the parade is going, but they’re having fun! The Farm Yard animal Hot Air balloons would look great in a Farm Fair, too! And that candy Googles looks like they aren’t selling many newzpapers, today, but it doesn’t really matter because there’s a PARADE! That Marquee from the Family score prizes could be a bit wider, but I like the placement of it. It makes a great overhang for the spectators below.

What a great day to visit the city! I love a parade! Thanks for the Big City Bus Stop! I’m nervous about the test on Friday. I have been trying really hard to pay attention, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be paying attention to. I’ve mostly been focusing on the words in the narratives, but it just dawned on me today that you may ask how many hippo police officers we saw when we visited the City Center. If the questions are like that, I’m really sunk. We will see…
