Reminder: Cheating can lead to losing your account

Recent events have required us to once again remind our players that cheating in any form in Webkinz Classic or Webkinz Next can lead to your account being permanently closed. Cheating includes:

1. Using outside tools to acquire or create items, KinzCash, eStore points, Diamonds or pet codes.

2. Attempting to hack our systems in any way, for any purpose.

3. Exploiting bugs in the game to acquire, create or duplicate items, KinzCash, eStore points, Diamonds or pet codes.

4. Entering another player’s account without their permission, for any reason.

With the release of Webkinz Next, we have added method of awarding premium currency – Diamonds – to our players. Any exploit used to improperly acquire extra Diamonds will be dealt with very seriously.

If you discover an exploit in the game, or any outside tool, please let us know at webkinzsupport@ganz.com right away.

We do not like closing accounts, but we must protect our game and make it fair for all players. Please protect all the hard work you have put into your Webkinz account and do not use exploits or cheats.

Sincerely,

GANZ

You say bugs in the game but what about bugs on the Ganz World site itself? Like if the Monthly Meal link for last month still works this month? Don’t want to get in trouble for an extra piece of food!

I have a question about prices ‘in Kinz cash’ and ‘selling for profit’. Are there ever items for purchase, anywhere in either game, that are purposely sold at a discount (that will be greater than the ‘half price resale value’)? My psr child that I help on his family account was told by his older siblings that he should purchase those types of items (as much as he could) and sell back to the store for kinz cash. He uses coupons and Arte’s store to do this. I want to help him understand whether this is something that will ever be a legit way to get kinz money or if this is always something to report as a bug? His sisters haven’t played in years and I am only help him with his internet time on the game so I am unsure how to find the rules to buying and selling. Thank you for your time.

    • Sally Webkinz says:

You can win coupons that give more than 50% off on the Coupon Machine and from some feature codes, which you can then use to purchase an item. When you sell it back, you will make a profit. This is fine and intentional. Some of the sales at the KinzStyle Outlet are also for more than 50% off. If you purchase that and resell it, you will receive a profit. This is also fine. If you find something that allows you to repeatedly purchase cheap and resell for profit, that is exploiting a bug. The simple rule of thumb is this: If it seems too good to be true, it is.

Thank you very much for your time in answering my questions! I have truly enjoyed helping my sweet friend with his account and I will make sure to help him understand how to play within the guidelines of Webkinz player rules. :)

Is there a way to show you that we’re entering someone’s account with their permission? My sister is really busy this year and is letting me log into her account so it doesn’t get deactivated for inactivity and she doesn’t miss out on cool prizes from things like collections and winterfest. My dad has also given me permission to use his account since he thinks it’s unfair that my sister can’t play this year. I don’t want our accounts to close since we’ve played Webkinz for so long and have so many great memories from playing together!

Thanks for the reminder, but there has been a serious glitch going on in the trading rooms. I haven’t been affected, but I know people who have. Basically people have been trying to trade 3 or 2 of the same item (like say 3 of a 100 KC coin), then have been getting permanently banned all fo the sudden. Would people in cases like this be lifted from a permanent ban?

Thank you for this! That may sound random..but I do thank you! lol. Though the yesterday I was talking with my friends on Next and it always said “I’m so silly” beacuase I said something I shouldn’t have or what? Though all I know is you cant use numbers. Though if I get banned by that I am so sorry.

    • Sally Webkinz says:

If you try to say something the system doesn’t allow, it does say that. If you repeatedly try to circumvent (like trying many ways to share personal information when that is not allowed), then it may result in a ban. If you’ve come to our weekly meetups, you’ll find that even the hosts get hit with the “I’m so silly” messages, so don’t worry too much about it.

This is random, but the latest news is the only place that my questions are answered: will we be able to earn estore points during the Deluxe preview? I really want some, but my parents don’t like to spend money on video games.

    • Sally Webkinz says:

You will not receive eStore points just for having the preview. The only way to earn eStore points is for someone to use your Helping Pawz number when they sign up for an account.

      • ILOVEWEBKINZ1234567892374 says:

Sally can you actually get estore points from helping paws code if so how much and how long would it take to get them?

        • Sally Webkinz says:

Sure, if your friend ends up getting Deluxe memberships or adopting pets, you may end up earning eStore points. I don’t have the exact numbers for that, though.

          • ILOVEWEBKINZ1234567892374 says:

Wow I never knew that :(

          • _xPho3nyxblade318x_ says:

Yo! So I have the Helping Paws thing, and I’ve gotten eStore points through it several times. You get 1,000 & a Helping Paws gift box with furniture. Not sure how long it takes for each person, but on one account I got points the next month. I just recently got eStore points this month for it. Hope that helps! I use other people’s Helping Paws on new accounts I make and/or give it to other people who are just starting up again.
