We’re so excited that the clothing from our fan-design contest in February is ready to be released at the end of August! The designs we ended up with were fantastic and we just know that you’re going to want to pick them up when they become available in the KinzStyle Outlet on August 28!
Check out the original drawings and the Webkinz artists’ interpretations of them below! Cakis’ grapevine outfit comes with a hat and shoes that will be added to Webkinz at a later date.

Near the top of the article it mentions that they’re releasing them in the KinzStyle Outlet. Since that shop doesn’t sell anything for estore points I think they’ll be for kinzcash.

I love how the designs managed to stay almost exactly the same as the originals, I’m sure the designers also really appreciate that. I can’t wait to see how these look on pets, and more importantly I can’t wait to buy them for my pets! :D

I don’t agree that they are almost the same. Ganz changed the colouring on most of these designs and I much preferred the originals. And in the case of the Starstruck Jacket they removed the stars from the top, making it a plain top and jacket… nothing Starstruck about it! Too bad since the designer did an awesome job designing the original. In this case I think the designers made these pretty perfect and Ganz should have left them alone.
I’m beginning to wonder about your monitor. The Starstruck Jacket does still have stars on it. The clothing was updated to match Webkinz style so they feel like they belong in the game.

I LOVE ALL of these! My only concern is just how much are they going to cost in KC, and are they going to be available for EVERYONE to buy, not just ePoints and Deluxe? They are just so lovely! Especially the Simply Floral Gown and Swan Lake Dress! We really have some talented Webkinz Players out there! Good job, y’all! :-)
I have a suggestion for P.J. Collie. How about some Webkinz Clothes that go with the room themes, like Ancient Egypt, Medieval, Ancient Civilization, Persian, Aztec, Western, Space Travel, and so on. And, yes, I know there are a few clothing items for some of the ones I mentioned, but it would be nice to have more options. We need more themed items than just normal skirts, dresses, tops, and pants. I would love to see clothing that could go with themes that aren’t really Webkinz themes, but could be used in WW. Like The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, and many more. Just PLEASE…don’t make the clothing so hard to get! Reasonable prices, available for ALL members, not just Deluxe or for ePoints, or eStore. Floaty clothing prizes are great, but you don’t always get a complete outfit. Please be fair to all! Thanks! :-)
yes, Yes, YES! I am so on board with theme outfits! Yes, we can cobble together our own, but just imagine how happy I’d be if my ‘Gandalf the Gray’ could be dressed completely in gray wizard garb. And oh, how I would love a long black flowing robe for Snape and a moleskin coat for Hagrid! Please consider entire ‘Middle Earth’ and ‘Harry Potter’ lines of clothing. If I was even remotely artistically talented I would enter items in the fashion design contest. Please, all you talented artists, please consider all the wonderful suggestions from ~alucard above! I would definitely vote for your design if you could properly clothe my LOTR characters! This would be such a dream come true!
Can you sketch out the costumes and how you want them? then the Webkinz designers can tweak them! I think your ideas are great and I would like clothes like these also! They sound great to own! There are a lot of ways to do these clothes so there are no copy infringements! They would be so much fun!! You might win a contest too! And we are talking themes and not just outfits!! That is what I want! Good luck and I hope we get them !!!
Beckinz8 and catladyinpajamas, love your ideas! I have LOTR and Harry Potter themed rooms too! I also have Star Trek themed rooms! I would LOVE to have costumes for my pets to wear when in those rooms. Of course, Ganz would have to be mindful of copyright laws concerning those themes, but the costumes (clothing), could resemble the real movie based clothing. Oh! The possibilities could be endless! :-) I would love to see how others use the clothing from the KinzStyle Outlet when clothing their pets for themed rooms. For my Star Trek costumes, I use the yellow, red, and blue t-shirts, with black jeans. For Harry Potter costumes, I use the Academy clothing items, plus the Wizard Apprentice Robe from the Clothing Machine. For LOTR/Hobbit, I use the Casual Dapper Top for the GanzWorld Rewards found here on Webkinz Newz, plus the Charm Fairy Leggings from the Magical Forest prizes. What do you use? :-) Themed rooms and clothing items can really help us be more creative. Wish Ganz would listen to our suggestions and “Make it so!” :-)
