Dear Webkinz Fans,
Two years ago we came up with an idea. An idea to make some big changes to Webkinz.com to prepare it for its second decade of online fun. That idea was affectionately known as Webkinz X. Our goal was to give your pets more life and more importance in your day-to-day Webkinz play, and furthermore, reward you for being a great caregiver to your family of pets.
After two years of hard work by the Webkinz team, including many long nights and weekends, Webkinz X has arrived.
What you will see is just the beginning. Over the next few months we will be dramatically increasing the ways to increase your Family Score, and teach your pets new requests so that you have more ways to care for them. It’s going to be a lot of fun for everyone, whether you’re a collector, a gamer, or just like playing in the room.
This first release of Webkinz X does have some issues. We have not made a release this large since… well since we first launched the game 10 years ago. Included in this release is a completely rewritten My Room. This new Room has built from the ground up to give us the ability to add new, exciting features to the Room, many of which you’ve been asking about for a long time.
As part of this rewrite, all 17,000+ items in Webkinz World had to be reworked for the new Room. While we got most of these items to work, some are not 100% perfect yet. Some items are not animating properly and other are missing their images. We know that these will be of concern to you, so we have a team dedicated to making these items right, and we will be making regular updates (every few days) until every item is done.
Please use the links below to see which items are not working properly. These pages will be kept updated with the latest information, so check them regularly. Additionally, some popular features are currently disabled (Pet Actions) or changed (Gardening) as we continue to make improvements to our new Room. All of these features will be returning to how you know and love them. Thank you for your patience as we make these important and exciting changes to Webkinz World. The future has arrived!

If you cannot log in OR if you are logging in and seeing a frozen screen, please follow these steps:
1) Clear your cache (especially in Chrome). Click here to learn how or on your Chrome browser tab, hit Options>History>Clear History>Clear Cache.
2) Check that your Flash Player is up to date.
3) Re-type your password in the login box to light up the Log In button. Saved passwords won’t light it up until you re-type it.
4) Try a new browser.
5) If you’re still experiencing issues, contact Customer Support at webkinzsupport@ganz.com.

I’m a Deluxe member and began in 2009 when they still had the family Deluxe deal where you bought one main membership and got to add up to 4 more family members on one account if you wanted to. This was great for families with 2 or more players. I left for a about 2 years and EVERYTHING changed. I agree with you guys about the cost being too high for one player only, but even worse is that most of the things that were free when I left were all DELUXE when I came back this year. I was really disappointed and even though I have over 8 accounts, only one is Deluxe because I can’t afford the cost either. The family deal was so awesome. Everything costs way more now…even the clothing machine recipes use more expensive clothing!!!!!! lol
Actually, I was gone longer, more like almost 4….my bad :( Even with all we’ve said, I still love the thrill of playing, winning and making friends. Thank you for that and much more GANZ! :D
I totally agree with you! I LOVED that family deluxe deal, my siblings and I used to have it, but then they removed it and my parents couldn’t afford deluxe for everyone, I no longer have it because its still too expensive, I think its wrong that Ganz removed it and that’s why a lot of people quit, at one time my whole family (Yes even my parents) played webkinz but ever since that changed they don’t play anymore. I’m the only one in my family that really plays it and even at that I can’t mad that practically everything is deluxe. :(

Hello! Just thought I should say that you can update your message above where it says some actions are unavailable (pet actions). Since you guys fixed it, I figured you might want to know so you could change that whenever you have the time. =P Nothing really important, it’s just a minor thing. Thanks for fixing the pet actions! (I’m still patiently waiting for the chance to change clothing in the park and clubhouse! =])
tv still not working…
My TV’s aren’t working either. All I wanted was to watch the show I made ;m;

I hate the new webkinz update. It always glitches out on my MacBook. Dx plus My dock is always in the way and it won’t come up half the time.
to all who are mentioning club penguin, whom my daughter was on since its start just like webkinz whom myself and daughter were on since 2007,..club penguin is no more and maybe just relying on memberships alone was not enough …webkinz has the right idea allowing free players, and players with middle memberships by purchasing toy and then to further things a paid membership. Here is what i do not agree with , i do not agree with taking things the free or middle membership has away from them rather than creating additional areas with the release for deluxe membership. While deluxe memberships for 3 months are 14.99 i believe there could be a reward for middle players (toy buyer) with that 14.99 webkinz they buy a 3 month deluxe membership should come with it and after 3 months it defaults back to the middle membership with option to pay a prorated amount for remaining months in the year if they want to extend. …
cause lets face it guys the memberships are here to stay …so how can webkinz make it more even level like it was before? As i said the areas should not have been taken away from free and toy buyer (middle memberships) however things should have been added for the deluxe users..extra spins, more mining, keep estore points going, a special deluxe island rather than taking the vacation area from users. …i love webkinz i have been playing since my daughter was young she is now 19 and she uses it as a way to play with her 4 year old sister while she is away at school. to have a platform that supports that yes the membership is worth it to me..
I AGREE! They took away almost all the arcade games from members who haven’t purchased a webkinz in awhile and I think thats wrong…
I don’t understand why things don’t get fixed before something new is introduced. I agree with what others are saying about the deluxe membership, it creates two classes of players. I believe it causes hard feelings too. Overall a really fun game, maybe concentrate on getting more kids in it with nice plushes rather than all the virtual estore and deluxe.
