Webkinz Close Up: Marvelous Masterpieces!

Webkinz World has many wonderful things that you can hang up and display on your pet’s walls. However, once you add them into a room, sometimes they are so small it’s hard to appreciate all of the detail and work that goes into creating them!

Here’s a closer look at some fine art paintings we’ve released over the years. If you look closely, you’ll notice something familiar about them. Each one is the Webkinz version of an existing famous painting.

Dogs Playing Poker and The Scream are my favorites.

Is The Mona Ducka and The Poodle with the Pearl Earring really real Webkinz paintings?!? I have never seen them ever! Not even in the Trading Room! But they are very beautiful!

Mona Duck is the Mona Lisa . Poodle with the Pearl Earings is Girl with the Pearl another famous painting, The Expressionist painting is in real world called THE SCREAM . Adolescent Zango reminds me of the FAT LADY paining in Harry Potter . POP art painting is like an Andy Warhol art work. PETER MAX painting would be nice style . He also did a pop art but most famous is the BEATLES Yellow Submarine record cover and show .

Dogs Playing Poker I would have to look up as well as Hippo on a Half Shell and Zangoz (Dionysus). Mona Lisa is Master Leonardo, Girl with Pearls I think is Van Goug, Pop Art I believe is Andy Warhale, and The Scream I think is a Dega.

Oh my gosh. I only have seen less than half of these. Wow! This shows I really am not a collector for these. :P

These are all so cool. As an artist and art lover, I’m literally begging you guys at ganz to re-release the last 4, they are fabulous!! Let’s see how I do on the identification game. I think they are: Dogs Playing Poker, part of a series by C M Coolidge, The Birth of Venus by Botticelli, Marilyns by Andy Warhol, The Adolescent Bacchus by Caravassio, Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer, and The Scream by Munch. Did I get them all? Regardless, please do re-release these fabulous works of Webkinz art, we need them for our pets’ homes, offices, museums and art galleries! I saw some of these “live” (the originals) when I was in Italy last year. I absolutely love the Webkinz versions!

Hey Emerald… you can still get the last painting, the expressionist. It’s one of the choices in the academy painting class gift boxes. Time to get back to school!!

Thanks for this, acoolant, that’s awesome! And good news, too, my pet Stormy is speeding towards completing the creativity class. I seem to remember that the other 3 paintings in question here were from past mystery bags or some such “take a chance” thing. Please, ganz, re-release these Webkinz treasures!

You did far better than I did. I could not for the life of me remember which one Hippo on a Half Shell was copied after. I also thought that Bacchus was Dionysus although they may be the same. If you are correct about them all the only ones that I got right were the Warhol and the Mona Lisa.

      • 1Emerald1 says:

Dionysus was Greek and Bacchus was Roman. They were similarly perceived as the gods of wine and revelry. I laughed so hard when I saw the Mona Duck, we stayed at the Mona Lisa Inn in Florence when we were in Italy last year, and they had one salon that was a showcase of Mona Lisa copies with the lady doing all kinds of amusing things, wearing wild costumes, with a mustache, etc. The Mona Duck would fit right in there!

“The Scream” is from an Academy box when you complete creativity, I think. I’m not sure about the other three from last items. I agree that they are amazing and I would love to have those!

  8. Katz1259 says:

I have played Webkinz since 2006 and I have never seen or heard of the last 4 . Can you please tell us how to get them and where/when they were originally released.

  9. kaye10 says:

please identify where the last four are from, as these are items which only turn up in trading (if ever) and NO ONE EVER KNOW FROM WHENCE THEY CAME!! thanks :) (p.s. please, please help us be able to get these!!!!!) k.

  10. MaliceLaStrange says:

There are so many of these that i have never seen! Are these all still available? I’d love the mona lisa, the scream, and the pearl earring!

    • Alphaowlbear says:

“The Scream” is one prize you can win after completing all ten levels of the creative class in the Kinzville Academy – I have a couple of them, and all the prizes you can get from completing KVA classes are not tradeable or portable, so that’s why you never see them in the trading room. You have to complete the class to get one. The other three must be Estore, I’ve seen them in other people’s room showcased here on WKN.

      • gmatiny says:

Level 10 is so far out of where I will ever get in Creativity. Nice going .

        • dixiecup says:

Creativity level 10 is EASY PEASY!! Oh My Gosh, that is the easiest class in all of Kinzville. Most of my pets have their Level 10 Art, it’s level 10 strength and level 10 agility I will never complete. Gmatiny, scout around, there are places that show you how to figure out what speeds and how many drops to use in the spinner. Once you do it often enough you get to the point where you know that the lumpy one is a level 2, scalloped is level 3, start of points is level four. You just think about how the spinner goes faster and what happens to the paint on the palette.

          • Beckinz8 says:

Good creativity class pointers, ~dixiecup. Level 10 on agility is attainable, but requires a LOT of patience, and endurance. I would fail 2, and pass 1, so it took quite a while. The thing that I honestly want to know is whether anyone has completed level 10 on strength. If so, can they please post a guide? For a while now, the strength meter has been glitching. You are moving along just fine, and you get a rhythm going, and then the meter becomes unresponsive in the zone, and just continues to drop. There is also the issue of the lag when the ads reload. Put these things together, and my friends and I have found the last level to be impossible. I am sad that my pets will never earn their diplomas, at least not until the strength challenge can run without a hitch.
