Webkinz Mini Golf will be retired from the Arcade on April 10th, so as a special send-off before we bid it adieu, we’re holding a Mini Golf Community Challenge!
If the Webkinz Newz community plays 5,000 rounds of Mini Golf from Friday, April 5th – Tuesday, April 9th, you’ll get a code for a Golf Bag that you can unlock at the Code Shop and proudly display in your pet’s room.
Simply starting the game and giving it a try will count as a “round”, so don’t worry if you can’t complete a whole game. You’ll also get credit for trying a round of 9 or 18 holes, in 1 or 2 player mode, so there’s many ways to join in on the fun!

Check Webkinz Newz Wednesday afternoon (April 10th), to see if we managed to reach the goal of playing 5,000 rounds of Mini Golf. If everyone gives it a try, we’ll have no trouble winning the Golf Bag… Good luck!

WHAT, NO! I never even saw this article when it was posted… I just noticed that Mini Golf wasn’t in the arcade when I checked the other day, and then I came across this article… this is sad. Just sad. =( Yes, Mini Golf wasn’t the easiest game. The controls were hard, I will admit. But regardless of how frustrated it made me at times, I thought the game was fun to play! It was challenging but yet so rewarding, and I loved being able to play as one of the four adorable avatars. Why in the world was this retired? Was it because of Flash ending, or something? Either way, I’m heartbroken that this game had to go. Regardless of whether you liked it or not, one cannot deny that Mini Golf was a true Webkinz classic. It will be missed :,( At least, it certainly will by me.
Sigh… I loved this game. Only one I was really good at. If I needed Kinzcash I could always rack up at least K150 on it.
