It’s Stoogles. I asked my parents if, instead of taking the bus to school, I could try walking instead. They said that as long as I find a friend to walk with, they’re fine with it. So from now on, I’m going to try and walk to school every day. It’s a great way to start the day!
I can’t walk to school because I home school I barley have to do any school work :)

I can’t walk to school. It takes 45 mintues for me to get to my school by BUS! Do you know how long it would take me to get there by walking? It would be a looooonnnnnnggggg way!
Yeah….walk to my bedroom….walk to the computer…..*lots of exercise*. Even if I did go to public, my parents would never let me walk. They won’t even let me run a mile on the road. We live in the country so……that’s like ten miles or something to school. probably more.

My distance is about the same or more.

wish I could, but can’t :/ I used to, though, until middle school came around. I live about a third of a mile from my awesome elementary school, but I live three or four miles from middle school. Oh, well. At least I got 6 years of walking. And riding the bus to school is so weird… (first year)

Same here! It isn’t wierd for me now, because I have been back in school for 2 weeks now. It is a little hard, but it’s fun!
I live 15 minutes from my school when I drive, so it might take an hour or two to walk :/
We have a car, but my mum says the exercise is better for you, so I have walked to school for the last 6, I think we went in the car about 3 times. I love walking, even in the rain I get to splash about. The best time of year is now all the blackberries are ripe, I love to pick and eat them on the way!

Definitely good exercise for you! I wouldn’t be able to walk from my house, but if you live close enough, I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try it!

LOL I can walk to school too! It’s only like 20 steps away! (I’m homeschooled I just have to walk downstairs to the computer lol!)
