Ho, ho, ho, am I ever pleased. When we all went to pick names out of the hat in the auditorium for the Secret Santakinz exchange, I, Purr-Cilla, totally picked my OWN name out of the hat! Isn’t that just the best? Because now I don’t have to pretend to like whatever I get, I can buy something for myself! Hm, now, should I buy a makeup kit, a pretty pink winter hat, a new pair of cute boots…

I like buying something for me for Christmas, it makes me feel good about myself. Oh, I don’t go to the trouble of wrapping it, I usually wear it Christmas Day, it’s just a preaent from me to me. As for Purr-Cilla, who better to pick their own name then her. If there is an odd number of kids in the class someone had to get their own name and if there’s an even number someone else has to get their own name and they will tell Ms. Cowoline. jennifer

While I agree that getting your own name in a Secret Santa pick is not so good, I did buy myself a present a couple of years ago for Christmas. I wrapped it and put it under the tree. On the tag I put it was from my dog. Ha ha ha It was something I knew no one else would get me and it was not very much money. The whole family laughed when they passed out the gifts, wondering my dog got the money to go shopping. :)

I think it’s great that Purr-Cilla got her own name. It means nobody else has to put up with the stingy or badly-picked gift she would probably get them!
Purr-Cilla, You cannot have your own name for Secret Santa. It defeats the purpose of giving a present to someone else. Tell your teacher and get someone else’s name.
