Challenge 18: Cookbook Challenge
Look through a cookbook and find a healthy recipes you can make (with your adult assistant). Visit the library and see if you can find cookbooks made especially for kids – those recipes are usually a bit easier to follow, if you’re a beginner. Talk to your adult assistant about the ingredients needed, visit the grocery store – and get ready to make a tasty dish!
Cowabelle’s Leaf Collection
           It’s me, Cowoline. Molly mentioned that she had been trying to get Booger to go outside more so I thought I’d invite him to come out with me. I started this leaf collection a few years ago. I just love how the leaves turn color in the fall. There are so many beautiful shades of red and gold and orange. So every autumn, I look for the most perfect samples to add to my collection. I thought that might be a perfect excuse for Booger to get out. I know how he loves science and I figured he could tell me all about the chemical composition of a leaf and why they change from green to other colors. I mean, is that a perfect assignment for Booger, or what? But he just said no. I pointed out that it was all in the name of science but he said he was busy working on some other projects right now.         It’s Nibbles! Hi! I’m giving up soda for a whole week for the lifestyle challenge. It’s full of added sugar and since water is so much better for me, I’m going to switch. I just know I’ll feel better and I bet my dentist would approve too!
