Salley’s BIG Plan
Hey everyone! Salley Cat here with some awesome news – my plans for the end-of-the-year trip are actually coming together really well! So well, in fact, that even Purr-Cilla said they sounded like fun. Crazy, right? But it’s true. Here’s what I’m thinking we’ll do: On June 23, we’ll take a bus into the Big City. We’ll spend the day going to a museum, strolling through the park, and then seeing a theater show at night. There are so many musicals there – I don’t know which one we’ll end up at, but I know it’ll be good! We’ll spend the night in a very fancy hotel. How can we afford that? Easy! My mom found out that Fluffington owns a hotel in the city, and when she told him about our trip, he said he’d be happy to give us a discounted rate! So we’ll be staying in five-star luxury for a one-star price! The next morning, we’re going to go to Chef Sophia’s sister’s restaurant for breakfast. After that, we’ll get back on the bus and head home. What do you think? Best end-of-the-year trip ever, or what?
Everything’s Coming Up Roses!
Hi, it’s me, Roberta. Today my mom brought home this cute baby name book. She really liked the name Reid (my idea!) for a boy, but she wasn’t crazy about any of the girl names I came up with. We started looking through the book and I saw the name Rosebud. I am named Roberta after my dad, Robert, but my mom’s name is Rosemary and I thought – what if we had Robert and Roberta and Rosemary and Rosebud? Pretty cute, huh? And guess what? My mom really liked that idea. She said that we could call the baby Rose for short. Isn’t that cute? I’m so excited! Soon I’m going to be a big sister and our school trip to the Big City is just around the corner. It’s going to be so much fun seeing all the sights and staying in a hotel with my friends! And after that school’s out for summer! Is June going to be an awesome month or what?

A Surprise for Nibbles
       Nibbles here. What a week! First I find out they are holding auditions for ‘Kinzville Sings’. The place is going crazy with ‘Kinzville Sings’ fever! Cowabelle can’t seem to talk about anything else. Then today Alex called me and asked me to come and meet him at the Arcade. He is kind of sick of all the ‘Kinzville Sings’ talk so I figured he just wanted to hang out for a bit and get away from it all. He said that he had a special surprise for me. I couldn’t really think what it could be. I thought maybe he wanted to show me the new game, Leapin’ Llamas, since I hadn’t tried it yet and he said it was really fun. So I headed over to the Arcade to hang with Alex. We played a few games (he was right – Leapin’ Llamas IS fun!) and then he looked at the clock and suddenly started hurrying me to go for a snack in the Arcade cafeteria.
