Molly’s Family Christmas

You’ll never believe what happened yesterday. I’m still having a tough time believing it myself. It all started when Millie and I got home from school. Millie was babbling about wanting me to play with her dolls and then finger paint and who knows what else, and I just wanted to sit down and chill for a bit. I tried to hide out in the kitchen, but my mom was waiting for us. She had a big mug of hot chocolate and a plate of cookies for each of us – that should’ve been my first clue that something was up. Mom is definitely NOT OK with us eating cookies before dinner. Anyway, Millie and I sat down and enjoyed our snack – and then mom decided to spring the news on us. Our family – our ENTIRE family – is coming to spend Christmas with us. Now, I know SOME ‘Kinz who would be super-excited about that. But the thing is, I’ve got twenty-five relatives on my mom’s side. Twenty-five. And our house really isn’t that big. Plus, some of my relatives are just…awful. Like my twin cousins, Bobby and Robby. And … Read more
Molly’s Great Idea

Hey! It’s me, Molly. Millie and I have had a long day and I am exhausted! What started out as a small project turned into a major undertaking. I found out that there was a Kinzville toy drive and asked my mom if she would take us to the W Shop and let us choose some gifts that we could give away to kids who are less fortunate than us. I have some KinzCash saved up from my allowance and I thought this would be a pretty good way to spend it. My mom loved the idea and then she said that if any of my friends wanted to donate too, she could drive over and pick up the toys and deliver them to the toy drive. Isn’t that a great idea? So I sent out an email to my friends telling them what I had in mind and the response I got was overwhelming! Almost all of my friends said that they would donate at least one toy to the toy drive. I made a list of everyone who wanted to donate and told them that we’d be there … Read more
Molly’s Craft

I always have great ideas, but usually have a hard time remembering them. Fortunately, I’ve got this terrific craft to help! What you need: Small pad of sticky notes, construction paper, scissors, glue, stickers, markers – whatever you want to use to decorate the cover of the note pad What you do: Cut a piece of construction paper to fit over the sticky notes. It should fit the back and front, like the cover of a book. Glue the cover to the back of the pad of sticky notes. Decorate the front and back. These are super-handy to keep in your backpack!
Molly and Millie Fly a Kite

Hey! It’s me, Molly. I just had the most fun day ever with my little sister, Millie. Today I took her to the park with her new kite. It was a really windy day so I knew it would be perfect. I told Millie to hang on to the spool of string and I ran and ran with the kite until the wind caught it. It flew so high! At first Millie was a bit scared she was going to let go of the spool but I ran back and helped her hold it. As she watched the kite dance and bob around she giggled and giggled! She thought it was so much fun. Suddenly, though, the wind changed and all of a sudden the kite started diving down. I tried to run in a different direction to catch the wind again, but it was too late – the kite plunged right into a tree. We ran over to the tree to get the kite, but it was totally stuck. Millie was so upset! I didn’t really know what to do. I tried tugging at it but it was really wedged … Read more
Final Dress Rehearsal!
Hi there! It’s Molly here. I am soooo nervous! Our school play is tomorrow night and I am playing Maid Marian. It has been so much fun rehearsing with everyone over the past couple of weeks, but now that it’s down to the wire – well, I’m getting butterflies in my stomach! We had our big dress rehearsal today and you could say things didn’t exactly go smoothly. Alex is playing this character called ‘Much’, who is Robin Hood’s sidekick. Much is supposed to be kind of clumsy and I guess Alex took his role to heart because at one point, when he was in a sword fight with the Sheriff of Kinzingham (Stoogles), he knocked over two trees that we were using as props. He got dirt all over the stage and Ms. Cowoline had to stop the rehearsal so she could clean up the mess. And I guess it was typecasting when they gave the role of the bad guy to Purr-cilla. Man, talk about a prima donna. Sparky and I are the two leads of the play but by the way she carries on you would think that Purr-cilla was the star. She was late for … Read more
