Happy New Year! A new year calls for a new pet design contest! We would like you to design a new Webkinz Classic pet that will be sold by Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day – April 29, 2021!
Here’s how it works:
Between January 1 and 31, design a pet that you think would make a great addition to Webkinz World! It can be any kind of pet you like! You can use one of the templates provided below or you can create your own drawing. You can enter as many times as you like!
You can use any kind of art supplies that you want – markers, pencil crayons, crayons, or other art materials. While we will not accept images that have computer generated patterns or graphics copied and added to them, participants may use programs like Paint or Photoshop to color and draw freehand. We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems. Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.
You don’t need to include a suggestion for the pet’s PSI and PSF but you can if you want!
Submit your drawing to the Pet Design 2021 Gallery in the Share Center by January 31, 2021.
Wait until February 7, 2021 to see if your design is one of the 10 finalists.
The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2021 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.

Can I use art to fill in the Colors?
Is it art you drew? If not, no.
I am not sure if I sent my image the right way. What should I do?
Keep sending it till you know it’s there. Also try going on Share Center and submitting the image there. Lmk if that helps. ;)

Look on “My Share Center” maybe that will work! :) Mine took a while, too. But I looked on my account on Share Center, and it was there. Do I have to draw the design by myself or could I add things from the internet onto the templet and submit it?
No. All elements must be drawn by you.
Can I draw the things on a website?
As long as it is your artwork, and not someone else’s designs, yes

Hello Sally. Hello Genelle. Hello Michael. Players on social media are hard at work on new designs for webkinz pets. One player, in particular, just *dazzled* a group of us with two of her ideas. Fresh concepts, gentle colours, universal appeal. Very impressive. Her pets were so different and charming that I actually could easily imagine them on real plushies and even infant wear or nursery decor. So, imagine our collective dismay when she said she wasn’t allowed to enter because she wasn’t residing in the US or Canada. That seems like such a missed opportunity for the good folks at Team Webkinz and Ganz. Thus, my suggestion, phrased as a nonrhetorical question, is why not open these design contests up to all your players regardless of where they are in the world?
I agree that it’d be great if the contests were open to people all over the world, but ultimately it isn’t their decision for legal reasons.
I’m excited to enter this, I always wanted to enter but could never think of an idea, and I finally did. I tried to make multiple designs including a Maine Coon cat, however I luckily discovered that already existed before I finished the whole thing. Then I just focused on my main idea :) It was so fun to draw

It’s unlikely to be picked for one, but if you submit multiple ideas, can multiple ideas be picked? I know submitting more than once is allowed, but does that mean only one can win?
