There are many tips and tricks that players should know that will help them get the most out of Webkinz World, and in this series we’ll reveal them!
The Curio Shop is famous for Arte’s rare items. These are special finds that only appear once each day, and after they appear, you may not be able to buy them again for a very long time!
Only Arte knows when he’ll have a rare item in stock. If you are a special customer, you can ask him what time he’ll have a rare item. But how do you become a special customer?
Here’s how:
- Visit the Curio Shop every day
- Buy something from the Curio Shop as often as possible
- Use the tip jar! The more you tip him, the faster Arte will remember you
Do all of these things every day for a few weeks and you’ll soon be a Curio Shop insider! You’ll know that you’re making progress when Arte starts to greet you differently each time you visit.
Just remember to save up lots of KinzCash– rare items can be quite expensive!

I need two more each of two gems to get my third and fourth crown of wonder. I have been trying to find these specific gems for months now. Is there any way to know where to look for them or is it truly just random each day?
how bout how to get thru the higher level cooking classes at the webkinz academy. im stuck on a level and i dont know what to do to get past it…
Hey Ganz. Whenever I ask Arte about rares, the buttons get darker like normally when he’s about to answer, but then he doesn’t answer and it won’t let me do anything else in the curio shop. It will let me go out and then when I come back in it’ll let me do stuff, but I can’t ask about rares anymore. My UN is Pianogigirl. Please fix this.
I’ve noticed that Arte doesn’t answer when there are no more rare items for that day, otherwise he shows a time on his sign (9am for example). It seems like there is usually between one and three rare items a day. I look on http://www.webkinzinsider.com every morning to find out which items are for sale that day.
