Games at the Fair?

Salley Cat reporting in on our plans for the Fall Fair. So, things didn’t really work out the way Stoogles and I imagined they would. Maybe we didn’t have quite the budget we thought we did. But we did end up getting some of the stuff we wanted for the Fall Fair. The only thing is that now I think we need some other activities as well. Stoogles and I thought maybe we could make up some games for the ‘Kinz to play too.

So now we have to think up some games. I had hoped to have a Dunk Tank but that wasn’t in our budget. I’m sure we can make some games without spending too much money. The only problem is, if we have games, then we’re going to have to have prizes. We don’t have any money left over. I wonder how we’re going to be able to afford prizes too?

Hmm, looks like I’m going to have to confer with my council on this one.  Maybe Purr-cilla has an idea. She’s been so hard on all of MY ideas – let’s see if she can figure this one out.

Homemade games are great! And prizes? They don’t have to be anything fancy. We (at home) often get prizes that are just big candy bars or soda pop. Maybe those could be good prizes.

Random — I think they should add more actors and sets for the Webkinz Studio…maybe somethink mystical, mysterious, or arcade setting.

Make homemade ribbons. Or have everyone donate an old toy (like a stuffed animal they no longer play with) to be the prizes. I’m sure the fair will be GREAT!

i thought maybe you should make a beach so people can swim in it

You could just hand out KC prizes!

Maybe go to the dollar store or just do games without prizes. Kinz will have so much fun at the fair that they won’t care about prizes. Good luck with your Fall Fair!

Well, prizes don’t really matter! Surely all of Kinzville knows that? If you have some extra hula hoops, maybe you could start a contest without a prize! After all, I think the best prizes is just the thought. :D

You could use activities as prizes? Like you can win a day with Ms. Cowoline, or a teacher has to dress up like a ballerina for a day of your choosing, or you get to toss a whip cream pie in the face of a teacher, or you get a free pass day on homework, or you get to take classes of your choice for a day, ect ??

Great Idea, StarDust! Another one is getting a teacher to die their hair Pink and dress all like Hawaii! (We did that at my church once…) It was so funny! :-D

I know! Have a Chalk Drawing contest! :D Everyone gets to pick 2 colors of Chalk and make a picture. You can give out small prizes for the winners of the contest. You can play tag, volleyball, or have a jumprope contest too. ;)

You can have people donate cakes and do a cake walk. Or have people buy tickets for the games. then make your own prizes. Or ask people to donate some.

You could make prizes out of some of the ideas from Crafty Critterz and a game you could do is the potato sack races or the three legged race. Or for prizes, you could fill a small container with candy. That gives me another idea! :D How about having people guess how many jellybeans (or another object) are in a jar or some kind of container, and the winner gets to keep the candy inside of it.

You can donate your own prizes and make some too! Last year in the Spring fair some kids brought in stuff and the teachers brought in small things like rubber balls, plastic jewlery, small coloring books and more ;). You can also have not pricey games like dart throwing, nocking bottles, drawing contests, and even (believe it or not) a yo-yo contest! :D

you could do bungee jumping and charge for tickets.
you could do a art competetion.
you could(if you wanted to)rais money by doing a car wash just outside.
