What you need:

-          Celery

-          Peanut butter

-          Raisins

What you do:

1.       Wash and cut the celery stalks into four or five inch lengths. Fill the hollow side of the celery stick with a line of peanut butter. Set your ants (raisins) into the peanut butter with a bit of space between each one.

2.       These are the best kind of ants to have at a picnic!

They serve those at my school sometimes. I will get them, but since I don’t like celery, I just eat the rasins and scoop out the peanutbutter with my fingers!

That’s a great idea to try nuts. Believe it or not but I very likely would never have thought of that. and it sounds very good. Especially if you did peanuts on it with the peanut butter. Or maybe pecans. But i think peanuts would be better.

To be honest I don’t really like celery very much. Although I do eat it in potato salad and some other things. But it’s chopped pretty small then. If most of the flavor can’t be hidden by the other ingredients then I’ll usually leave it behind or feed it to my dog. I figure I might as well give him the part I don’t like since he’s absolutely must have a bite. Usually he ignores me though because he knows that if he sits in front of my mom he’ll get the last bite.
But I kind of like celery when it’s dipped in something like low fat or light ranch dressing. Or it’s covered in peanut butter. Those really hide the flavor a of the celery a lot and it then tastes good. They have a new kind of ranch dressing out now and it’s called Cucumber Ranch Dressing and it reallly good it enhances the flavor of the greens and makes them taste soo very very good. It’s especially good on a salad. Just remember that things like ranch dressing tend to be pretty full of fan and calories. When I can I try to get the lighter dressings. I also enjoy italian dressing a lot. Maybe the next time I have some celery I’ll try dopping it into some italian dressing. Please excuse any mistakes I’ve made typing because for some reason the comment box won’t scroll down and let me see see what I’m typing. Ah well.
