Yup, I’m totally with you. Webkinz X ruined a lot of cool things that I used to count on, and frankly, it is now a lot more babyish. My daughter quit playing because of the new “babyish” look to the site. And so many things just don’t work like they’re supposed to. I’ve been playing since 2005, and I have SO MUCH STUFF!! The functionality of most or all of my older decorations, etc., is gone. And I appreciate that Webkinz has made small changes to the stuff bar, but frankly, I have probably 200 gifts that I don’t open because I know I’ll never remember where to find the items again. You should either be able to search, or at the very least, we should have LOTS more breakdown of items. The seeds are at the end of the food section, for goodness’ sake! You guys have been around long enough to know how things work in the on-line gaming world. And frankly, if you don’t keep your teen and adult players happy, you will lose the market share that actually spends most of the money!! Thanks for listening!! :)
I agree, Birthday Dragon – Instead of more new stuff, please fix some of the old stuff that doesn’t work now that you’re on the new system. Like the old decorations, etc., that had cool special effects … those don’t work anymore!! Please fix things that should work. :)
We really need to be able to search our backpack, and our rooms, for items. Maybe our backpack could show how many of something we have, the number of what is there in the round circle, and then a small grayed out number that shows you have others in the house somewhere. Then if we could somehow search our house … I have lost at least 2 crowns of wonder!! Older players, who have soooo many rooms (great idea to be able to move those around, by the way) and so much stuff … it gets overwhelming when we can’t find anything – and no way I’m going to search 50 rooms. The whole backpack system could use a make-over – just make it more functional – we need way more breakdown of items. I couldn’t find SEEDS the other day, and later I accidentally stumbled across them in the end of food! Really? It is just way too hard to figure out what you really have, so decorating rooms or dressing pets becomes much less fun. :) We, the old players (not just age, but having been around a LONG time) and the Deluxe players, are the backbone of Webkinz – so make it easy for us to keep playing!!! :D Thanks for listening.
Fabulous idea! And I’ve been suggesting for years that we need a search feature for our items!! I have been playing so long I have no idea what I have or where it is hiding. :)
When will the older items get their functionality back? It has been a long time since the “new” website, and the older players are kind of left hanging with the really cool old items that we many times spent real money on – but the functionality doesn’t work! Please fix. :) Thanks.
