Purr-Cilla: Detention Day 3
My mother always says I’m the smartest girl she’s ever met, and I think that genius was evident in my brilliant plan to avoid detention today. What was did I do? Simple! Yesterday, I told Ms. Cowoline I had a dentist appointment. And did she believe it? Of course! And did I have an appointment? Not at all! But instead of dealing with the horrible half hour with Salley Cat, I got to go home, have some snacks, watch some TV and chill out. All it cost me was fifteen minutes of cafeteria cleaning at lunchtime. Which, by the way, I pretty much didn’t have to do anyway. Malena just cast a spell that cleaned up the cafeteria. Just one of the benefits of having a fairy for a BFF! Anyway, I’ve got to think up something to get out of dealing with detention tomorrow night. Maybe a doctor’s appointment? Or some kind of last-minute illness? Anything to avoid hanging out with Salley.

Roberta Rabbit and the Fashion Faux Pas
To: PJ CollieFrom: Roberta Rabbit Subject: Fashion Faux Pas Dear PJ, Remember how you told me to be brave with my fashion choices and to mix colors and patterns? Well, I’ve been doing exactly that. And I guess I’ve been doing it wrong, because everyone thinks I look ridiculous. You saw me on the way home from school today…did I really look that silly? Let me know where I’m going wrong! Please! - Roberta To: Roberta RabbitFrom: PJ Collie Subject: Re: Fashion Faux Pas Dear Roberta, Um…well, I’m not sure I’d say SILLY, exactly. But after seeing you on your way home from school, I think I’ve figured out what the problem is: you’re mixing and matching without any kind of rhyme or reason. I guess I may have forgotten to mention that it’s a good idea to have a theme in mind when designing an outfit. Like, for example, when you mixed the neon green raincoat with the red jeans last week (yeah, I noticed that as you walked past the KinzStyle Outlet). That wasn’t a great color combo. If you’d mixed the raincoat with black pants…or even gray…it would’ve been better. … Read more
Salley Cat: Detention, Day 2
Ugh, I can’t believe how slowly this week is going! I think it’s mostly because of the detentions. They’re awful. For half an hour after everyone else has gone home, I’m stuck with Purr-Cilla doing some kind of boring chore that Ms. Cowoline comes up with. Today? Today we had to polish the trophies in the trophy case. Purr-Cilla ‘accidentally’ dropped the bowling trophy and it nearly hit me on the paw. Fortunately, I got out of the way just in time. When we were finally done (it seems like the Kinzville Academy has won a trophy for just about EVERYTHING, so there were a lot to do), Purr-Cilla told Ms. Cowoline that she can’t possibly do detention tomorrow because she has a dentist appointment after school. Ms. Cowoline said that was fine, she could just help clean up the lunch room for fifteen minutes after lunch tomorrow. But I still had to report for detention. Can you believe that? I think I’m going to get my mom to schedule some kind of appointment for Thursday. I cannot wait for the weekend.
Molly’s Room: Birthday Redesign
Hailey and Elwin here with another awesome room redesign! Molly Pig just celebrated her birthday and her parents were really excited to be able to give her bedroom a total makeover. They hired us and we sat down with Molly to discuss what she’d like in her room. This is the before: Molly said that she had tried several different themes, but didn’t really like any of them. That’s why there’s so much going on in this room. The sleeping bag is from a sleepover she had a few days ago. The chairs and microphone are where her friends like to visit and sing. Her desk is MUCH too small, and Molly says she has trouble getting her homework done. Elwin and I talked to her about what kinds of things she liked. One thing kept coming up over and over: Molly LOVES color. As many different colors as possible, actually. She couldn’t really nail down a favorite color. So, with that in mind, Elwin and I set out to make the most colorful room we could! This is what we came up with! … Read more
Salley’s Detention
Dear Diary, Tonight I had my FIRST ever detention. I’ve never, ever had a detention before. What’s worse, though, is that I had my first detention with Purr-Cilla. Yes, that’s right. My nemesis. See, we had a little fight during the Student Council Meeting and Ms. Cowoline freaked out and said that we had to learn to get along. She went on and on about how we can’t keep fighting because we’re on the same council and we should have the same goals in mind. We had to sit and listen to her for half of our lunch period! And then – and THEN- she said that the only way we were going to learn to be friends was by working together. Thus, we have detention every single night this week and each night, we have a different ‘project.’ Tonight’s project? Cleaning the kindergarten classroom. Not mopping the floors and stuff, but cleaning out the cupboards under the sink (let’s just say a family of dust bunnies was living there quite comfortably), sorting the little toys out (there are so many little toys) and washing the easel (ten thousand layers of paint. That’s … Read more
Dacey Bryn: Unavailable
Dear Diary, I’m so upset! I don’t know what to do about Dacey. She never called me on the weekend, and she hasn’t returned any of my emails. I tried calling her cell phone tonight, but she didn’t answer. I left her a message, but I don’t really know what else to do. I’m worried that I’ve offended her somehow, or that maybe I haven’t been a good enough friend. I told Roberta, but she just said “Relax, Cowabelle. Dacey is probably just busy.” I think Roberta is just mad because she doesn’t like the idea that I might have another really good friend. I guess all I can do is wait, and hope that someday Dacey remembers to call me back. - Cowabelle
Student Council Minutes
Recorded by: Stoogles Googles In Attendance: Stoogles, Salley, Purr-Cilla Topics of Discussion: Salley as President Purr-Cilla questioned whether or not Salley is still the best individual to be the president of the Student Council. She suggested that maybe we should hold a new vote and see if the students want to elect another president. Like maybe her. Salley is very much against this idea, and brought up the next topic of discussion: Purr-Cilla as Treasurer Salley said that if reelections are being held, they should vote about whether or not to reelect Purr-Cilla. Then Salley reminded Purr-Cilla that she wasn’t REALLY elected in the first place, but given the role by Ms. Cowoline. A fight ensued. A loud, angry, yelling fight. Ms. Cowoline must have overheard Purr-Cilla and Salley (I’m pretty sure the entire school could hear them), because she came stomping in and told them to cool it. She looked REALLY angry. She told them that they had to learn to work together, and in order to help them, she was sentencing them both to a week of detention. During the detention, they’re going to have to help clean up classrooms … Read more

Molly’s Birthday: Part 3
Dear Diary, Well, remember how I said this was the worst birthday ever? Well, things have changed! After mom got Millie more or less cleaned up, she stopped in my room and gave me a whole bunch of KinzCash. I asked what it was for, and she said it was to take my friends out for dinner at Le Snout – and dessert at La Soufflé. I couldn’t believe it! She said some of the KinzCash was from her and dad, and the rest was some my grandma sent for a gift. She was going to make me save it all, but she figured I really deserved a good time after what Millie put me through. So I ran downstairs and told my friends. They were super-excited. We got our jackets on and were just about to leave, when Millie came down the stairs wearing a bathrobe. When she saw us leaving, she lost it. She cried and threw the biggest tantrum ever. I thought Mom might make us take her with us, but instead, Mom frowned, picked Millie up and marched her over to the uncooperative chair. Awesome! My … Read more
Molly’s Birthday: Part 2
Dear Diary, I can’t believe what a terrible birthday this is. Millie is ruining everything! She wrecked the balloons, she interrupted our games and movie, she spit chips back into the snack bowls…and she sent the pizza guy on his way. I can’t believe it! I’m so embarrassed and angry. I just want her to go live at someone else’s house. There’s a knock at my door. It must be my mom. I’ll be right back. Well, guess what? It wasn’t mom. It was Roberta and Cowabelle. They said that I should come back downstairs for cake. I was about to go with them (hey, I love cake), when my mom came running up the stairs. “Don’t come downstairs,” she said. I was about to ask why, when someone else ran up the stairs. Millie. Covered from head to toe in chocolate cake. “I got hungry!” Millie said, her face covered in sticky icing. “I told you to stay downstairs!” Mom hollered. “Get into the bathroom and get ready for a bath!”Millie started to pull off her shirt and get undressed right there, but thankfully mom grabbed her and I heard … Read more
Molly’s Birthday Party: Part 1
Nibbles Hippo, reporting from Molly’s birthday party. I’d like to say that it’s been a huge success, but…that’s not entirely true. Here’s what’s happened so far: we all arrived here at 4:00, ready for some pizza and cake and games. When we first got here, we played truth or dare and some card games. And that was great. Until Millie came back from a play date with a friend. Millie noticed the card game and decided that SHE knew better about how to play. She grabbed the deck of cards and threw them up in the air, laughing as they fell. Molly yelled for her mom, and Millie was trotted upstairs. We went into the kitchen after a little while to get some drinks and pizza. When we got there, Molly’s mom said the pizza guy hadn’t come yet, but that we could help ourselves to chips and soda. Millie, however, had already been doing just that. She tasted all of the different potato chips. The ones she didn’t like, she spit out and put back in the bowl. Needless to say, no one ate any chips. The soda was good, until … Read more
