Nibbles’ Real Friends
Hey. I’ve kind of been keeping a low profile since I realized that Molly was right about Purr-Cilla using me for my pool. I mean, I just felt so stupid and I didn’t want Molly to say ‘I told you so’. My mom keeps asking what’s wrong because I told her just to tell my friends I’m not home. It’s just that I don’t want to invite Purr-Cilla and her friends in when they show up (which they do regularly, hoping to go for a swim) and I’m too embarrassed to see my other friends. But today my mom said enough was enough and that Molly had called on me several times and I was going to call her back. I took a deep breath and called her and you know what? She was awesome. She didn’t even mention Purr-Cilla. She just wanted to fill me in on her latest babysitting assignment. Apparently it went a lot better than the last time when Millie ran away. Nibbles’ Realization
Have you ever felt like a total fool? Because if you have, then you know exactly how I am feeling right now. I am so embarrassed I almost can’t even say what happened to me today. I was over at the Arcade to meet Roberta and we were getting a drink from the Arcade cafeteria when I saw Purr-cilla, Penelope and Janice sitting at a table. I was walking over to see them when I noticed that my shoe was untied and I bent down to tie it right next to a big plant near their table. I guess they didn’t see me because I overheard their conversation and I still can’t believe what I heard. Janice was asking if they were going to go swimming later and Purr-cilla said “Yeah, I guess it’s hot enough to put up with Nibbles for an hour or two.” I couldn’t believe it. A Postcard from Plumpy
Dear Nibbles, How is your summer going? I’m sorry I haven’t called in a few days – I’ve been SO busy touring Webkinz World. Charles and I are in the east right now and it’s just beautiful. I LOVE the warm weather and the beach! He thinks we should stay for at least a few more days, and I have to agree. I can’t wait to see the rest of Webkinz World, of course, but who can turn down the beach? I hope you’re less bored than you were before! Try to visit Roberta or Molly or Stoogles or Sparky. A Missed Invitation
Hey, it’s Nibbles again. Kind of a weird day today. You know that the other day Molly said that Purr-cilla was just using me for my pool? Well, today I decided to prove her wrong. Molly thinks that the only time Purr-cilla and her friends want to hang out with me is at my pool. So today I decided I would go over and surprise Purr-cilla at her place. And then the strangest thing happened. When I got to Purr-cilla’s there were a couple of bikes in the driveway and I’m pretty sure they were Janice’s and Penelope’s because I remember them from school. Which was great, right? Because I figured the four of us could all hang out together. So I rang the doorbell and I was almost positive that I heard someone walking around inside but then there was no answer at the door. Nibbles’ Family Takes the Plunge
Okay, I don’t want to be a disloyal sister or anything, because Plumpy is the best sister ever, but can I tell you something really cool that happened since Plumpy got married and went away and my parents came home? My mom and dad decided to get a pool! A POOL! Can you believe that? That wouldn’t have happened if Plumpy were still in charge! It is so nice having my very own swimming pool in my backyard! It’s been a really hot summer here and, as long as my mom or dad is around, I can just dive in any time I want to cool off. I’ve been having such a good time. Then something kind of interesting happened the other day. I was hanging out in the pool, when my mom said some friends were at the front door. Nibbles Misses Plumpy
Hey everyone, Nibbles here. What a tough summer I’ve had so far! It just hasn’t been fun at all. I think the biggest problem is the fact that my sister, Plumpy, is on her honeymoon. She’s traveling all over Webkinz World with Charles, her husband. I wish I was with them! I bet they’re having the best time, sightseeing and eating in good restaurants. In fact, I know they are. Plumpy phones me or emails me every single day. I asked her if I could buy a plane ticket and come and meet her somewhere, but she said no. I don’t know why! I’m a fun sister! Anyway, I’ve spent my days watching TV and emailing my friends. I stopped by Roberta’s the other day, but she wasn’t home. Molly is so busy babysitting Millie and Holly, Stoogles has a zillion Googles events to go to and Sparky is ALWAYS at the Curio Shop or taking swimming lessons. I think everyone has forgotten about me. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I wish school was going to start again tomorrow. Love, Nibbles
End of Year School Trip
Ms. Cowoline here and before we arrive in the Big City while we’re still here on the bus, I just wanted to go over our itinerary for the trip. We will arrive in the Big City shortly and spend the whole day exploring the town then we will have a fun-filled evening with dinner out and a musical. We are going to stay in a hotel downtown for one night. Then we will spend another full day tomorrow, visiting the Art Gallery and having a picnic in the park before getting back on the bus late tomorrow afternoon and heading back home to Kinzville. I have assigned each of you a ‘buddy’ who will be your partner for the trip. Please be sure to stick with your buddy at all times and do not wander away from the group. I will be taking a head count periodically, but please keep in mind that we will be in unfamiliar surroundings where it is easy to get lost. So keep your wits about you, be responsible and respectful, mind your manners and I’m sure we will all have a wonderful time!
A Letter for Nibbles
Dear Diary, Guess what? My parents are coming home soon! Within the next couple of weeks! They said that they’re going to work on projects here in Kinzville, and they’re going to move back home for good! I’m so excited! They’ve been working as scientists for the past several years, and I’ve only seen them a few times – but now, they’ll be home every single day! I guess I don’t have to worry about what will happen to me after Plumpy gets married – I’ll just live with my parents. How awesome is that? Love, Nibbles
No word from Laurabeard
It’s Nibbles here and I’m really starting to worry about Laurbeard. She wrote to me last week about a strange happening onboard Dogbeard’s ship. Apparently someone was stealing food from the galley. Laurabeard and Dogbeard were on their way to investigate and I haven’t heard anything since. I just hope that everything is okay! I hate to think of Laurabeard out there at sea with a thief on the loose! And it’s just not like her not to write. Oh, I really hope that she lets me know what is happening soon! I can’t bear not knowing!

Nibbles Hippo: Reporter
It’s me, Nibbles Hippo, here to recap all the awesome stuff that’s been happening so far today. The day got off to an exciting start with an Easter egg hunt at Fluffington’s mansion. Every year, the entire town goes to find the eggs. Grownups, kids – everyone! And every year, one egg made of solid gold is hidden among the rest. This year, Salley found it! She was so excited. Purr-Cilla just glared at her and stuck out her tongue. Jealous much? Millie is now 100% sure that Roberta actually IS the Easter Bunny. She saw Roberta putting a basket of goodies on her porch and, well, that pretty much sealed the deal! Roberta tried to explain that she just made the basket for Millie, as a gift, but Millie would hear nothing of it. Roberta eventually gave up trying to explain, and just let Millie hug her and thank her profusely. Speaking of Millie, everyone is looking forward to seeing her in the parade – which starts in an hour, by the way! I’ve got to get going and get a good place up front, so I can see all the action! Plumpy Shops for Wedding Dresses
Dear Diary, I am so excited about planning my wedding to Charles. I started shopping for dresses today. It is so hard to choose – there are so many beautiful dresses out there. I also need to choose the dress that Nibbles is going to wear and I really wanted her opinion on the wedding dresses, so I invited her to come with me. I don’t know if Nibbles wasn’t feeling well or what, but she really didn’t seem to be in the mood for shopping today. Every dress that I tried on, she just said “It’s okay.” or “It’s fine.” But I don’t want to look ‘okay’ or ‘fine’ on my big day! I want to find a dress that is really special. I was starting to feel a bit discouraged. I decided that what would perk her up would be shopping for HER dress. I mean, Nibbles usually loves to go shopping with me. Dear Diary, You’ll never believe what happened today! My sister Plumpy chose me as a bridesmaid! I’m still in shock! Not only do I get to wear a GORGEOUS dress, but I also get to stand next to Plumpy when she gets married! The other bridesmaids are Ruby (our cousin) and Tabby (Plumpy’s really good friend). Plumpy’s best friend is Wiggles, and she wanted a super-special job for him. So he’s her POH (Pig Of Honor). I’m actually getting a little bit excited about the wedding! Nibbles Talks to Plumpy
Dear Diary, Today I finally got a chance to talk to Plumpy about what’s going to happen to me, now that she’s engaged to Charles (it still feels weird calling him that, but Plumpy says he’s going to be my brother-in-law, so I should get used to it). Basically, she said that my Mom and Dad are going to see about cutting their work assignment short and coming home early. If that doesn’t work, she said that my grandma is REALLY enthusiastic about me going to live with her. Grandma is wonderful, of course, but she doesn’t live very close to Kinzville. I would have to move – and that means moving away from my friends. But moving in with Grandma WOULD be fun – and it would mean that I could see the rest of my family more often, because they live close to her. The one other option is living with Plumpy and Charles. The one tiny problem with that is that Plumpy doesn’t know where they’ll be living. After all, Charles is an important historian – he travels all over Webkinz World. Will Plumpy travel with him? Dear Diary, You’ll NEVER believe what happened today: my best friend, Laurabeard, showed up at my house at noon. We hadn’t planned to do anything together, but I was really happy to see her. She was…nervous. I invited her in and got out some snacks, but she just fiddled with the carrot sticks and dip, and didn’t really eat anything. Then, all of a sudden, she blurted out: “Nibbles, I’m going to be going away for awhile. Like, away from Kinzville. For more than a month.” And I choked on the celery stick I was eating. When I stopped coughing, I asked what in Webkinz World she was talking about. Well, apparently Dogbeard is headed out on yet another fantastic voyage – only this time, he’s invited his whole family to join him. He said he needed some ‘extra paws on deck.’ So Laurabeard is going. She’s really, really excited. But sad because she’ll be gone for at least three months.
