Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof – back with another special Webkinz Votes 2016 report! Amanda Panda is a newcomer to politics, but she’s already a familiar face to everyone in Kinzville. She runs the Wish Factory and she is giving her campaign speech today which you can read below…
“I’m so excited to be running for Mayor! Cowabelle made a lot of wishes come true when she was elected. But now it’s time for someone new to fulfill the wishes of the citizens of Kinzville.
I’m so proud to be running against such esteemed opponents. I know I may not have the star power of celebrity Dex Dangerous, the many years of experience of the elderly Dr. Quack, or the cozy relationship with the current mayor that Salley Cat enjoys. But what I have is this: I spend every day interacting with citizens of Kinzville, helping make their wishes come true. At the Wish Factory, I’m lucky enough to meet with citizens face to face and listen to their needs.
What everyone wants is the ability to create a loving home for their pets – a home that lets you express your creativity and style. I’ll help you create the perfect home by adding more retired Exclusives to the Wish Factory. And to make sure you never miss out, I will announce which Exclusives are going to retire in advance.
I’d also like to address a concern expressed by some of you. I know the prices of some new Exclusives are high. I’ve already reduced prices on some items. But isn’t everything that’s worth having, worth working hard for? I see the joy on your faces when you finally save up enough Tokens to get that special piece. Doesn’t the fact that you have to work for it make it all the more special?
If you elect me on November 30th we’ll work together to create the perfect home. You already know how hard I work for you every day in the Wish Factory. As your Mayor, I’ll work to make wishes come true all over Kinzville.

Well that was a nice speech Amanda but you can’t get Wish Tokens like you get Kinz-cash; it is much harder to get tokens. I agree that working for something makes it more special but those prices are nuts! Don’t get me wrong, I do really like you & your ideas to bring back retired items but I think I’ll stick with the doc on this one. (No offence)

Sorry, but that is quite a speech. I have not decided which candidate I will vote for. Maybe we should see what Sally Cat has to offer before we decide for sure. By the way, I have one account that I have had for 8 years and I have 227 tokens. Just to see how long it would take me to get 300 or 400 tokens. I won’t be buying any of the most expensive items. I have all but the airline window, the bed and the gazebo, the archway, and that red flower. Won’t be waiting another eight years for a larger prize. Sorry, Amanda. You are a little to high priced on some of your newer items.
I really want to hear what Sally has to say before I make a final decision. I do really like the idea of having a heads up on what items will be retired ahead of time. She has a point about working for something making it extra special when you do get it, however, even if you get one Wish token a day, it will take more than a year to get the Ribbon bed. Naturally the one that I want the most. Anything more than say 100-150 is getting a bit ridiculous.
Hey, Amanda Panda IS listening. She already reduced the cost of some of the Wish Tokens and she said as your Mayor, I’ll work to make wishes come true all over Kinzville. I think she has been working really hard to make other things better for us. Remember “changes coming in the New Year”. Maybe the Wish Factory items originally went up to offset the expense of all the wishes that are coming true all over Webkinz but upon hearing costs were too high at the Wish Factory she reconsidered and fixed this. She is going to let us know when things retire. She is listening and working hard.

i just really wanna say this, mostly everyone (not all) is voting for characters they like. no. look away from the characters and look at what their bringing. Dr. Quack- new foods to make our pets happy and stop bugging us so much. Dex Dangerous- 2 adventure park games we could finish in a week. if that. Amanda Panda- bringing back more old exclusives= unhappy traders, (some) reduced wish factory prizes? by how much? a token?! Personally so far in my opinion…. Dr Quack is the best
I agree…So far, overall a bit disappointed, but Dr. Quack seems reasonable. Amanda Panda seems like a good candidate, but think: When Cowabelle was mayor, she didn’t really “do” anything for Webkinz World players except her very generous promise to allow more flexibility in decorating. You have to look at the candidates’ initial promises, because basically that’s the only difference that will be made to WW. Amanda Panda is doing very little for us. Bringing back retired Exclusives that you can get through trading…barely lowering the outrageous costs of some Exclusives? (the prices are astronomically high still; sorry Ganz, it would take yearssss to afford just ONE of those items.) Sorry, but Amanda Panda just isn’t promising much. Dr. Quack owns practicality, Dex owns fun factors, Amanda owns niceness. Looking forward to Salley Cat. Until then, I guess I have to go Dr. Quack.
Yeah. I agree. I bet the next one will be Better than them all! Guys, forget your faves. Actually look at your benefits. I bet if you don’t, they might not be your fave when you are un-happy with the results.
Welp, we all know anyone with four microphones is important, right? XD I like Amanda’s deals, too….3 to choose from. Golly, who will I vote for???
To me, Amanda is actually doing the least! I like her personality, but where will that get us if she doesn’t do anything much to “Make Webkinz World great again”, so to speak? Anyway, I suppose I’m not taking this too seriously, but I am just looking for an improved playing experience. Dr. Quack for now I think, but Salley Cat might be interesting too…;)

The items in the wish factory are just plain too high. There is hard work and then there is drudgery. 100 tokens should be the max for anything. The only thing I like about Amanda’s plan is the promise to let us know which exclusives will be retired.
