Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof – back with another special Webkinz Votes 2016 report! Amanda Panda is a newcomer to politics, but she’s already a familiar face to everyone in Kinzville. She runs the Wish Factory and she is giving her campaign speech today which you can read below…
“I’m so excited to be running for Mayor! Cowabelle made a lot of wishes come true when she was elected. But now it’s time for someone new to fulfill the wishes of the citizens of Kinzville.
I’m so proud to be running against such esteemed opponents. I know I may not have the star power of celebrity Dex Dangerous, the many years of experience of the elderly Dr. Quack, or the cozy relationship with the current mayor that Salley Cat enjoys. But what I have is this: I spend every day interacting with citizens of Kinzville, helping make their wishes come true. At the Wish Factory, I’m lucky enough to meet with citizens face to face and listen to their needs.
What everyone wants is the ability to create a loving home for their pets – a home that lets you express your creativity and style. I’ll help you create the perfect home by adding more retired Exclusives to the Wish Factory. And to make sure you never miss out, I will announce which Exclusives are going to retire in advance.
I’d also like to address a concern expressed by some of you. I know the prices of some new Exclusives are high. I’ve already reduced prices on some items. But isn’t everything that’s worth having, worth working hard for? I see the joy on your faces when you finally save up enough Tokens to get that special piece. Doesn’t the fact that you have to work for it make it all the more special?
If you elect me on November 30th we’ll work together to create the perfect home. You already know how hard I work for you every day in the Wish Factory. As your Mayor, I’ll work to make wishes come true all over Kinzville.

Well, that’s a lot to think about. I love the idea of some retired items returning; there are several I would love another chance at. And to announce in advance which items are retiring? It’s a fantastic idea! I’m not sure who I’ll vote for; I want to consider what all the candidates have to say. But thanks, Amanda, for listening to our concerns! :-)
Ooh. I seriously don’t know! I looked in the comments to see if anyone could convince me or say a good point that would make me want to vote for someone, but there are some very mixed comments!! I have no idea who I am going to vote for, but if i cant decide on election day, I will probably vote for Amanda Panda.
Amanda’s comments about the other candidates weren’t exactly nice.
Dr. Quack has my vote, and not just because I missed him so much when he left, but because he has the best policies!

Sorry Amanda, but as we WW players know, there is no “work” involved in obtaining Wish Tokens. Saving them up takes patience and discipline, yes. Keeping up with activities and login dates (like a birthday) that awards wish tokens takes diligence and loyalty… but after that, there is not much more one can do to obtain a currency that is awarded randomly. Amanda Panda, please consider these suggestions… 1. introduce a way to obtain Wish Tokens through actual work (such as a job or game), 2. create a currency exchange to turn Kinzcash into Tokens, or 3. allow unwanted Wish Factory items (such as randomly awarded adoption gifts) to be traded in/sold back for Wish Tokens. Implement any of those ideas, and I think you’d do a world of good for the citizens of Kinzville/WW players.
Those are really good ideas, let’s hope she is reading the comments.

Yes, Its good to work for items. But these prices could take years to complete Amanda. I love the idea to add more exclusives. i have a feeling our next candidate will have a great one! better than them all!

I don’t know that I like her campaign promise. Even if they cost a lot of tokens, I don’t like the idea of bringing back retired items.
The “elderly” Dr. Quack? Really, Amanda, I mean, REALLY?!? Or the “cozy relationship … that Sally Cat enjoys”? Are you actually reducing the friendship Sally Cat has with Cowabelle to political collusion?!? I would have never thought that of you, Amanda – I’m totally disappointed in your character. As for your campaign promises: 1. Letting us know in advance which Exclusives are to be retired is something that should have been in place a long time ago. 2. I’m a little (a VERY little) tempted by the possible return of older Exclusives, but you would need to tell us which ones they are PRIOR to the election as there are several Exclusives that, in my opinion, should have never been created, let alone be allowed to come back. 3. Lastly, Wish Tokens are RANDOMLY awarded. So, unless you provide us with a way we can actually WORK (‘work’ being the operative word) towards consistently earning Tokens, you cannot be telling us “a thing worth having is worth ‘working’ hard for”. Therefore, Amanda, it’s unlikely you’ll be getting my vote.
This is what I meant when I posted my post. We have no way to work for wish coins as they are just awarded randomly. I too am leaning toward voting for Dr. Quack. I wish that they would tell us in advance which exclusives are going to be retired… I have felt this for many many years!!
